It is slightly confusing of where everything stands as far as resizers being put into place and uploaders, But I did want to throw out there that good old ms Paint in windows has the ability to size down pics if needed.
just go into the program open a picture then go to the Image drop down and click stretch/skew. There it has a Horizontal and Vertical stretch keep both numbers the same and just drop the percent until you get to the desired size.
