As for the quoting ... I am sorry, but I will continue to use that to respond to posts ..... that is the purpose of having it there ....

I can't really see a problem with the quote,it is configured to cut out quoting pics as much as possible.
It could be that a reply is in respond to the post one before the reply,but by the time the reply is posted someone else could have replied jumping in the space so the quote does still help to make sense of post replies.
The signature issue,I wish admin would come up with a better idea.
We would have no need to merge posts etc,the way things are at the moment with the size of some sigs it makes a lot of sense.
A lot of the time we get a reply of few words followed by this repeated massive sig.
It is only posts by the same member in succession that's merged so it should be of little inconvenience as possible.
