Would you then have a problem with your 15yr old daughter following the trend.

Like you said, fashion speaks volumes, especially when it comes to teens. I won't lie to you, I wouldn't be thrilled about my daughter showing the world her panties, but then again, perhaps she wouldn't allow me to see what she would allow the rest of the world to see, if you know what I mean. When I was a teenager it was tight jeans, the tighter the better..lol..my mother would have a fit but I wore them anyway, know why, because she had no idea how tight they really were. She had no idea that I had to lay down on the bed while my little sister forced up the zipper with a fork..lol..or I wouldnt have been allowed to step outside the door with them on. I would wear a long sweater until I got out of eye-shot and then off with the sweater. Bottom line is, if they really want to dress a certain way, they'll find a way....I'd rather keep the lines of communication open and live in the real world. I think if we are able to talk to our children about anything and visa versa then the *g-string* becomes only a fashion trend to all concerned and not necessarily a stereotypical lifestyle.
