Hi Chariots ...... welcome to our forum, have read through what you posted, and you have two of the best to help you, I know because they have helped me so much ~ all I can add is, don't rush it, take your time, these programmes which they are getting sorted out for you are "professional" so it takes time to get around them, but they are super, and Essex's tutorial is a work of art, so just go at it bit by bit.
