"I don't really know how to explain it, ... I think that those are just the type of songs that I imagine standing onstage and singing for the rest of my life. Each one of them means a lot to me. It's important I have those songs on the set list because they keep me up onstage. I'm not much of a storyteller. I am, but I get tired of the same story after a few spins. I can't really imagine writing an album of urban folk tales.”
