So, some recent examples of racism here towards Blacks got me wondering: Was Jesus Black?
Many agree that he likely was Black...or at the very least, olive-skinned...kinda like the people of Iraq, Iran, and various other countries in the Middle East.
This, of course, didn't sit well with Hitler and his nazi goons, who wanted desperately to believe that Jesus was Aryan....yup, blonde-haired, blue-eyed Jesus...and then later, from their teachings, it became widely accepted in North America that Jesus was some white, biker-lookin' dude...which seems kind of odd considering where he would have lived.
The bible itself said that Jesus had "skin of bronze" (apparently), and scientifically speaking, due to the amount of sun a carpenter would get in Nazareth, he was bound to have an extremely high melanin (sp?) content in his skin, making him brown-skinned, or even black.
So....what say ye...?
I'll include a picture to help people picture this...just in case they have trouble picturing a Black man in light of such a revelation...(and don't say I never gave you anything)
