As of today, Roofessions is still being bombarded with spam every few minutes - links for teenage gay sex, viagra, etc.

How come for a few days past Jokeroo was very bad to get on? Like very long loading times and the dreaded red X's of doom instead of lovely banners and pics?

Roo fessions is still around? I miss them alot.

Roofessions is still around but is having issues, I suggest waiting till they get things sorted, I've only had the issue of no banner today, but others have complained, maybe it's something to do with the upgrades they're working on lol

If I haven't said it before, welcome aboard, if Roofesions is your thing, then go for it and get the Admin team to make it work for you.

I have just finished reading the 10 pages of this thread, and trying to follow the winding trail down which it leads! As near as I can cipher, the thread was intended to announce the roll out of multiple new projects and services for the Roo beginning about June 28th . In the 10 pages created over the past 6 1/2 weeks, I learned that only one new project has been announced, and it was announced on a different thread instead of here. Oops!

I share with others who have also posted here an interest in seeing what other new and interesting projects get rolled out, and hope they prove more rewarding to those who have put so much effort into the research & development than the LinkBee concept seems to have been so far! I will be happy to help in any way I can toward that end - just give me a shout.

Also, the silence of the Roo-Admin to requests and suggestions here has been deafening so far. I would respectfully suggest that Roo-Admin post (or designate someone to post) something here at least once weekly – even if just to say “hello – we haven’t forgotten about you, and we don’t intend to respond to your requests and complaints at this time – more news as soon as it becomes availabe” would be better than silence.

Just a couple thoughts that seem relevant to the thread’s original intent. Good luck on the R&D!

P.S. - Dear Spiderweb:
I've never even seen or had access to the vault, but I appreciate how eloquently and persistently you have stood for our rights to be treated as free adults here! I also admire the wisdom you showed to not bite on the narcissisticly barbed and baited hooks tossed your way once you had fully articulated your position. I unequivocally stand with you on this issue, and only wish I had tuned in much sooner so you wouldn't have been the only one taking the abuse. You rock, girl!!

My comment back to Flynn was edited!!!! A friendly jab at his bookmarks was removed - interesting.

Stooby - it is still around, limping, weezing, and barely having a pulse but it is there. Roofessions.com if you want to see a spam bot at work.

Flynn - the best thing about Roofessions is the fact that there are no moderators to edit comments or posts. The site would be perfect if they simply removed the spam/links to garbage and duplicate posts.
