I share with others who have also posted here an interest in seeing what other new and interesting projects get rolled out, and hope they prove more rewarding to those who have put so much effort into the research & development than the LinkBee concept seems to have been so far! I will be happy to help in any way I can toward that end - just give me a shout.

Also, the silence of the Roo-Admin to requests and suggestions here has been deafening so far. I would respectfully suggest that Roo-Admin post (or designate someone to post) something here at least once weekly – even if just to say “hello – we haven’t forgotten about you, and we don’t intend to respond to your requests and complaints at this time – more news as soon as it becomes availabe” would be better than silence.


Just a couple thoughts that seem relevant to the thread’s original intent. Good luck on the R&D!

I've never even seen or had access to the vault, but I appreciate how eloquently and persistently you have stood for our rights to be treated as free adults here! I also admire the wisdom you showed to not bite on the narcissisticly barbed and baited hooks tossed your way once you had fully articulated your position. I unequivocally stand with you on this issue, and only wish I had tuned in much sooner so you wouldn't have been the only one taking the abuse. You rock, girl!!

Thank you so very much .... I am not sure if you were lucky enough to enjoy the Roo back in 2003-2004 when, as an adult, we posted many adult related material and were not censored. I understand about the minors finding access to this site now, but there are ways to let adults be adults. I am only asking they give that access to the adults that wish it. Glad to have someone else added to the team!!!!!!

I don't think Assmaster or myself are claiming to be a victim.

Speaking for myself, if I felt that way I would send you ( Essex ) a message with my grievances. I would not inflict that sort of thing on the general membership.

It's more a case of why two members are censored and other members are free to post their member bashing posts.

In order to be a victim one must have suffered an attack or injury or more generally some type of damage (mental, physical, emotional, etc.). That is not this case. I was not claiming "injury"; I was merely stating a fact for the record. Which was not refuted by Essex; merely a statement that he did the same to someone else in addition!

Since there is sufficient time and resources to edit innocuous posts, is it possible to have the focus shifted to the relentless spamming of Roofessions?

well I certainly don't consider myself a damsel in distress ... but I am thankful to have someone else understand the point I am trying to get across without twisting any of my words ...
