Spam is considered pointless information, like the bunch of posts below yours in this thread.

That post was made by Jokeroo Tim in reply to Squirt.

Does every other member who posted after hers falls into the catagory of POINTLESS INFORMATION ?

I take umbrage to his suggestion that mine or any other members post was pointless. How about he address the questions that have been raised instead of shooting the messenger which in this case happens to be the membership of the board.

Maybe in future, if the Admin team want some help to promote the board to increase their own personal revenue they should include some members in their round table discussion of what's going to be good for us.

What's next ?

Are our email addresses going to be sold to Spammers ?

If it's a simple matter of money I'm sure we can have a fund raiser to get the Jokeroo Admin Team back on their feet.

Paypal may have messed you up, but you do have a history of everything, if you have problems contact them and show them the history. Not every system we use in the world is perfect.

Ahh, but you see you clicked on the link, and most likely downloaded a file. Retrieving a virus is hard to do these days, and has been hard to do in the past 3 years. Perhaps you should try FireFox.
No thanks, as it is I have fought tooth and nail just to keep coming to roo. When my pc geek tells me to skip places I listen. I dropped myspace and elf town/pack on his advice. Then I had the mess with linkbee. He wanted to shut me down I'm not a total idiot when it comes to repairs but I just can't beat all the viruses without help I got a cessor worm from link bee when I entered... thats all it took. So theres no way I'll loose roo over trying to please you or anyone else!

2 questions have yet to be answered, how much and how is it to be paid? it still seems like it's turning a simple copy and paste into a major ordeal lol
I truly appreciate the explanations Tim!

The spam posts were deleted, and left behind was a notification saying it was deleted. If your post wasn't deleted then it wasn't spam...

It's not a matter of money at all. If we needed money we would have donate buttons everywhere and ads wherever you look (not the case on the message boards).

It explains ways of payment on LinkBee.com

Quote:
How do I get paid?

Users have three options for payment. Paypal, Epassporte and Cheque. All cheque payments have a $25 processing fee.
The amount you get paid varies on the type of link you have created. You will get paid more if you use Interstitial instead of Banner links. Don't forget that the more referrals you have the more money you can make. It's based on 5 levels.

Quote:
How much can YOU make?

No Limit. The more links you create, the more traffic and users that click on those links, the more money you make. You can even make money on referring your friends, up to 5 levels! LinkBee provides the industry leading payouts with a whopping 50% revenue share on your created links!

Explanation

Here, you can find a detailed report of your earnings thus far using Linkbee. We pay a certain amount of each type of ad, so make links with the more rewarding ad type for more cash! We pay you a certain percentage based on what level the link is. Level 0 is your own links, level 1 is the links of your referrals, and level 2 onwards are the links of the referrals of the last level.

If this is to generate some income for the 'Roo then I'm happy enough to do so but since I seldom postr links in my posts, I doubt that much would be generated. If it is just for me then I think I'd give it a miss.

That having been said, I feel it unfair that the admins get greif for presenting this opportunity. If they were telling us we HAD to use it then fair enough but merely enabling it is a service.Whether we choose to make use oif it is up to us.

Tim

If you knew the posts that were considered to be spam were deleted, you should have declared it at the time you made your post.

Any reasonable person could have interpreted your post as a negative comment toward the members who posted here. If you didn't want an honest response you should not have put it on an open board.

I figured people were able to see the reason why the posts where deleted and not have to go into full detail when it was already there.
