Soulful, Mournful
(tumbling tercets)

uncertainty guides my fingers
gently tracing broken chords
and heady silence. dare I dwell

on mournful moments, hesitate
on the tracks of my tears... or
give ear to a soulful resonance
...

To host or not to host

I really enjoy playing host but lately the joy of it has been slowly and surely diminishing. It's the tupperware mentality of many that is so discouraging. This is when guests leave no dish unturned, ensuring that they and their families (including those who don't attend) are fed for the rest of the week while the host ends up cooking, possibly that same night, because...

I rarely watch music videos today (or at least the ones lacking in creativity). I came across one about buying a woman a drink... yes, that was actually the title. So it's the typical shaking and what have you, the club scene with a bit of imagination I guess (one guy surrounded by ladies).......
