Well finally I get out into the long grass to find out if I actually have ay garden down there. First things first, the lawn-mower is fu..doesn't work The cutting blade was not loosened off after the last cut and now the darn thing is seized up. After much huffing puffing and banging it with a spanner I have managed to get the old beastgoing. Time for a new one methinks! Suzikat says if I get a hover mower with a grass collector she'll than cut the grass. We'll see. Anyone ever seen a woman cutting grass?
Washed and polished the cars with help from the kids today. Spoke with Alex about him and James getting together with acouple of shammies and buckets and going round the village offering to wash cars for a small fee £1 or so. He's keen as mustard to do this but I'm not certain that a pair of 11 yr olds doing it is a great idea but what harmcan it do to let them try. They are likely to come back wet and tired but that's a bonus as far as I am concerned.
