I know how it is to lose so many people in such a short time. after my daughter died i lost my grandma, three of my best friends (cancer, stroke etc.) and then someone who was like my mother all within four years. it is very hard and i don't think the pain ever really goes away. i was only 15 when i lost my daughter and it still hurts at 21. and then i lost my other grandma in dec. of 2003. it sucks to lose so many people but it' everyday life and we just need to move on, as hard as it is. i'm glad you liked my poem and yours was great too. thank you for sharing. it touched very deep in my heart.

although they brought tears to my eyes both were beautiful poems it's poems like that,that make a person think about all the love ones they lost and how much they truely miss them and remember all the good times they had when they were here with them.anytime any of you feel sorrow over someone you lost just think of the good times after all good times overcome the bad and remember they're in a better and safer place

Thank you so much for both of the poems... They both touched me deeply. I don't know that I can stay in this forum much longer though. I'm sitting in front of my computer crying like a baby and missing my dad terribly.

Sallyanne, I know thar you miss your dad, but rmember always that your dad will always be by your side.

Thanks TonyMak... I know he is. I'll always believe that daddy is upstairs looking out for me otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten out of some of the crap I've gotten myself into.

Sallyanne, do take care of yourself and do not cry.
Your dad knows that you love him, he loves you too and he will carry that through eternity with him.
I myself lost three very close members of my family, all within the last three years. I miss them all so dearly.But I know that they are looking after me everyday.. And for this I am content....
