I guess the younger ones wear them as there's a trend to wear the jeans or whatever lower so it's shows the top of the g string.
Don't sound right at that age but fashion talks volumes. |

why doesnt it sound right? its not like I force her to wear it.. she bought them herself.. I wouldnt approve of my youngest (12) wearing one but at 15 surely she can decide for herself right?
btw.. g strings from my point of view are not a sexy bit of underwear, they are practical when wearing jeans. |

Try to stop them wearing what they want at that age LOL,I wouldn't have dared try to say to mine at that age they shouldn't wear such and such.
Under jeans they are practical, what I was talking about was the fashion of lowering the jeans to show that there was a g string underneath. |

I guess it's an individual choice. I, for one, think that underwear is underwear and I wear them for myself not for anybody else. I don't wear thongs or g-strings because I like to be comfortable...but that's me. What's the difference what kind of panties a 15 year old girl wears, as long as she's the only one who see's them..lol My daughter is 14 and I still buy her underwear, but if she were to buy herself a g-string I see nothing wrong with that....I may have a few years ago, but she's growing up and becoming a responsible young adult. If it's nobody's business what kind of underwear I have on, why is it anybody's business what kind of underwear she has on? I wouldn't want her to flaunt them, but I see no harm in her wearing them.

From the makers point of veiw, they would make g-string pampers if they could. I don't suport that. Um, if you look at the world as a whole, we are maturing faster. In the age of Mtv, internet and hormons in the milk. Our children are growing up at an alarming rate.
I have a neice-in-law, who by the age of 12 already had a C-cup bra size. This alarms me. I can not even begin to think of this. She is aready dateing and my wife caught her with anther 12 year old, making their way to 2nd base. This terrifies me. I think in our need for speed, convince, and everything else. We have brought this on ourselves. I know when my parents were young, it was not too uncommon for a girl of 11 to be married off. So, if they had been around, would she have worn a g-string? Who is to say. Too young as we are noticeing is getting younger all the time. The major diference between where we are now and where we were is simple: they get the information sooner, they process it faster, and we get the results faster. Youth and sexiness are linked forever. I do not aprove and I have no idea how to tell you how old is old enough. A quick laugh to ponder here, how old is too old for a g-string? Take care, and I will stop random thinking.

I will say any age that you like them doesn't matter as long as you are
comfortable I have worn them since before I was a teenager and my daughter who will be 10 loves them she says she doesn't like "granny" panties so for me again what ever makes you comfortable |

Hi TD, it's nice to meet you...Was she wearing a g-string? I can understand what you're saying here and I agree to some extent, but I'm sure the fact that your neice-in-law was caught trying to make it to second base had nothing whatsoever to do with the kind of underwear that she was wearing, am I wrong? I think if we can all be brutally honest here for a moment we will agree that *2nd base* and the need to get to it, has been around for quite some time, perhaps even before the invention of the g-string..lol It's all a part of growing up and like it or not, it will happen even in cotton briefs. This all scares me as well, when it comes to my daughter I can be a bit over-protective to say the least, but I trust the fact that I've raised her right, and this, along with the fact that I watch her like a hawk..lol..helps me to not sweat the little things...like underwear...pardon the pun. |

Would you then have a problem with your 15yr old daughter following the trend. |

Like you said, fashion speaks volumes, especially when it comes to teens. I won't lie to you, I wouldn't be thrilled about my daughter showing the world her panties, but then again, perhaps she wouldn't allow me to see what she would allow the rest of the world to see, if you know what I mean. When I was a teenager it was tight jeans, the tighter the better..lol..my mother would have a fit but I wore them anyway, know why, because she had no idea how tight they really were. She had no idea that I had to lay down on the bed while my little sister forced up the zipper with a fork..lol..or I wouldnt have been allowed to step outside the door with them on. I would wear a long sweater until I got out of eye-shot and then off with the sweater. Bottom line is, if they really want to dress a certain way, they'll find a way....I'd rather keep the lines of communication open and live in the real world. I think if we are able to talk to our children about anything and visa versa then the *g-string* becomes only a fashion trend to all concerned and not necessarily a stereotypical lifestyle.
