I don't disagree that children are tougher than we give them credit for.

Most children don't have to deal with the playground reality that one of the parents had her breasts surgically removed and is on a hormone therapy so she can grow a beard to look more masculine.

The two lesbians involved in this story are extroverts and they will exploit their own child for financial benefit.

Or are they erely trying to recoup the cost of some very expensive proceedures that in most centrally funded health services they would have got for free?

If you were not aware I have stated quite clearly my opinion on this: I do not think it is good for the child or our society to plash this sort of thing around the papers 5000 miles away purely for the purient delight of the casual readers.

I agree with you,Vinnie. We adults should protect our kids. To bad theres so many out there that think kids are here to be used and abused as they see fit. My tummy turns when I see headlines about a childs death by parent or how they have been used to barter for drugs.
