Okay folks I was slightly afraid of this when I started the tread. What I was hoping to discuss was not the rights and wrongs of the lifestyle but the limits of how sensationalism impinges on the production of news.

I believe here you have to pay for those particular things youself, of have some sort of insurance that provides it, they do not use taxpayer money. The doctors involved are plastic surgens and can stay far away from me in general.

Other cases, such as this Douche USATODAY.com - Transgendered inmates push for state-funded sex-change surgery I fully agree... and cross my fingers for one of the many attempts on his life to be successful. Murderers and child molesters get NO sympathy from me.

Sure if they get hit by the proverbial bus sexual deviants deserve to get the same medical treatment as anyone else.

The people in this particular story are freaks who are using the media for their own personal gain.

A woman wanted to be a man and had an operation to become male, she didn’t remove the female reproductive organs, then decides that she who is now a he wants to have a baby.

As far as I’m concerned that proves that she did not and should not have had a sex change operation in the first place.

What a waste of medical science and money.

When that child is born it is probably going to suck up more tax payers dollars in the form of psychiatric or psychological help.

Best place for all of them is in a travelling side show as an advertisement of a social disaster.

If she wanted to become a man, then she should have stuck with the fact that 'MEN DO NOT HAVE KIDS" and not change her mind, whishy washy back and forth, creepy mind.

this whole thing is just scary and the poor kid will be confused as hell and will be prayed on by media and other kids.

The child involved in the link below is as brainwashed as those members who think it is acceptable for a woman to have a sex change operation then advertise to the world that he is pregnant.

only proves that despite careful psych evals that a few will still get thru the system that should not have passed. There will always be slips when dealing with human nature. There are no guarantees. Whos to say tho that se did use bc and ...well lol life finds a way! Then what are the optiobs? Shes stuck in transgender hell. Kill the kid? I sure as hell wouldn't! But then I never did buy into abortion as being just one more bc practice.

Has anyone asked her about her plans? Was it a last minute fuck up in her judgement? Did she set out to make a scene?

It could relate to either story.

Here's a little background on what happened here. Before the operation ever happened, these 2 women were in a lesbian relationship and the other partner was unable to bear children so when they decided to go ahead with the operation they kept the reproductive organs so they could have a child eventually. That is the only reason she didn't go all the way. This was according to ABC news when the story first broke. While I don't agree with this,it is their decision. My biggest problem with this is putting it out in the media for the whole world to watch. If this would have ( or even could have) been kept private, the child would be much better off. There are lots of kids out there with lesbian or gay parents and seem to be ok,so I think it's only the sensationalism that will cause real problems.I just pray for the child that he/she will be strong enough to overcome any adversity.
