OK I can understand your POV. I wish you would stay and continue to dialogue. It is clear you are intelligent, insightful and I for one appreciate your input whether heated or not.

I recall when I got back, I had a delimna. Hate those that tried to kill me for the rest of my life or try to understand the overall wordly currents that put me in harms way in the first place. Many of my exbuddies are dead, many suicides, albeit by drugs or just from poor health living on the streets, yep living on the streets when they gave the ultimate for their country. I hate alot of things about our govenment however it does not diminish my family's honour in the slightest!

So cool off if need be, but come back as this board sorely needs intelligent input.

If we wait for the government to tell us any truths we will be waiting a long time. The comment about CNN kills me..like we all should believe FOX news?..or MSBC..? I trust no media reporting blindly...i try to take a look at all presented views.. but I see more and more that "NEWS" reports are more and more slanted to a politcial party more than actual news..Id just like to know where we can get factual accounts of wtf is going on , especially when I'm being told by the political leaders that things are being done "for the good of Americans"..and we just "dont understand" or don't "see" , like we're a bunch of idiots..

To the contrary...I think its obvious that no one eats up what Flynn say about America ..in fact most chew it up and spit it out..His views of America , no matter how crass, are his and he has a right to say them. Him saying it doesnt make it true.
I also believe a government should very much be "in the business" of backing up its claims, because this leads to credibilty.Without it we end up looking like war mongering bullies, which is precisely how much of the world see's America at the moment.

There have been incidents of chemical weapons found in Iraq. Mainly mustard gas (sarin based but not the very deadly nerve gas).
They do not constitute the "smoking gun" we would like but in the main appear to be left overs from the Iran-Iraq war. Whether they were useable when found is doubtful.

The US knew he possessed those things because the US was supporting him militarily during the Iran / Iraq war.

I remember during the invasion of Kiwait seeing a reporter talking about how the US would be facing a military using arsenals that were provided to Iraq by the US during the war between Iraq and Iran.
And just the other day on the History Channel a program about Military history the historian who was an "Expert" stated that when the US went to war with Iraq that we faced an enemy who had weapondry left over from when Russia was supporting Iraq during its war with Iran ...I was like wtf?. just who did support Iraq ?...

My demand for accountability by the way of proof has nothing to do with Horty Sir being American or that his son was an ally of Australia during the invasion of Iraq.

In fact as I pointed out that there was no proof that President Bill Clinton sold nuclear plans to China or made 300 million dollars which is what another esteemed member posted and has still failed to address.

Please explain to me how that is American bashing when I believe Bill Clinton was a good President who certainly was not a traitor or a thief ?

My post has every thing to do with people being responsible for what they post. Some people who read these posts that are gullible enough to believe the distorted and exaggerated facts that some members claim to be real.
