Default Chief Seattle said:

"One thing we know that the white man may one day discover: Our God is the same God. You may think that you own Him as you wish to own our land, but you can not. He is the God of man, and His compassion is equal for the Red Man and for the white. This Earth is precious to Him and to harm the Earth is to heap contempt on its Creator.

When the last Red Man has vanished from the Earth, and the memory is only the shadow of a cloud moving across the prairie, these shores and forests will still hold the spirits of my people, for they love the Earth as newborn loves its mothers heartbeat.

If we sell you our land, love it as we have cared for it. Hold it in your mind, the memory of the land as it is when you take it from us. And with all your strength, with all your might, and with all your heart, preserve it for your children and love it as God loves us all. One thing we know. Our God is the same God. This Earth is precious to him.

Every part of the Earth is sacred. Every shining pine needle. Every sandy shore. Every mist in the dark woods. Every clearing. Every humming insect is holy in the memory and experience of my people.

But to the white man one portion of land is the same as the next. The Earth is an enemy which is there to be conquered. He kidnaps the Earth for his children. He does not care. His appetite will devour the Earth and leave behind only a desert.

There is no quiet place in the cities. No place to hear the waves of the spring or the rustle of the insects wings. The clatter only seems to insult the ears. The Indian prefers the soft sound of the wind darting over the face of the pond, and the smell of the wind itself cleansed by the midday rain or scented with pinion pine.

The air is precious to the Red Man, for all things share the same breath -- the beasts, the trees, the man. The white man does not seem to notice the air he breathes. Like a man dying for so many days, he is numb to the smell of his own stench."

Lightbulb wonderful sermon last night

I John 3:6
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Exclamation

notice how even the smallest of children will reach for something even after you've told them they're not supposed to mess with it?

That is sin.
We're all born with it.
Just a little seed of sin in our hearts, that we as humans cannot help but act on.

That is because if you try to trace your roots, the FATHER'S bloodline is always the one that is followed.
It traces it's way allll the way back to Adam, the first, original sinner.

That is why Jesus was without sin.
He was not born of MAN.
He does not have that tainted blood.

As you grow older, that little seed grows into a tree of sorts.
It has roots woven all through your heart, and it even reaches up and out.
Because a heart that is full of sin cannot help but spew forth sinful words.

BUT, a saved heart has that top part cut off.
Like a cut down tree.

Only by being sanctified can you remove those roots.
You're completely cleansing away any sin...any desire to commit sin.

After being sanctified, you allow the Holy Ghost into your heart.
And your heart, mind and body cannot help but act as HE.

Though I have been saved, I do not claim to be sanctified.
i know I still have sin in my heart.
Every day I work at getting closer.
And it does get easier instead of harder.
The more control you hand over to God, the less power sin has.

Last nite I was watching a movie...seemed perty good, what I saw of it.
But then this guy used "G.D." and it literally made me sick to my stomach, I had to turn the channell....... (just testifying!!)

Hmmmm, and I thought He was born of woman! Maybe I need to look in Patrish's bible to check that one out.

How did I miss all that?

still a student, not an expert ...but the only reason for that I can provide is Mary's virginity (she was still 'pure')???
But, as i said..supposedly your strongest blood line is through the father's side...................
Okay, I realllllly need to pray and study this some more, because i just found this, and I am confused.....

In Ezekiel 18:20 we read, "The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not bear the guilt of the father, nor shall the father bear the guilt of the son." Here God is telling us that children do not inherit sin from their parents, grandparents, or any of their forefathers, all the way back to Adam. It says "The son shall not bear the guilt of the Father." Each person is responsible for his own sins. According to this verse, it is "The soul who sins shall die."" Does it say that the soul that inherits sin, it shall die? No. It says the soul who sins.
An infant is completely innocent. Just as God says in Ezekiel 28:15, "You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you." So we see that an infant is born perfect and without sin until he becomes of an accountable age and then begins to sin.
James 4:17 says, "Therefore to him who knows to do good, and does not do it, to him it is sin." This is the sin of omission. An infant does not know to do good and thus cannot sin. There are only two ways that man sins: by committing sin or we sin by omission. An infant cannot sin in either way and has no sin.

A little child is innocent and pure, as our Lord says in Matthew 18:3, "Unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." Little children are not lost, but are safe until they become accountable.

One error leads to another. Men say that since infants have inherited the sin of Adam, that they must be baptized or they will be lost. This is also false. Infants are not suitable candidates for baptism, since they cannot believe. Our Lord says in Mark 16:16, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved." Here one of the prerequisites of being saved is to believe, which is impossible for an infant to do.
I'll see ya'll tomorrow.......LYMI

This was the cause of pain of childbirth in woman.

Yeah, sure! Not like expelling a watermelon from a hole 9cm in diameter is going to be a celebratory experience. Sort of like pulling a cue ball out of your nostril.
Bwahahahahaha!
