Hmmmm. It is never prudent to hate a religion, unless satanic.

Well, you first!

I am catholic(born into it) and I don't particularly like the religion the way it is. I have determined that religion is what you make of it. I mean each individual person makes their own religion...they have their own beliefs, even if they don't realize it!! what do you think?

I'm not gonna fill out that poll because it left out one.
There is a difference between Catholic Christians
& Born again Christians. I don't hate false
religions, but I respect other peoples opinion.
I do believe that some are cults. There are no religions
to make. They are already in place. All you have to do
is follow one. The phone book for instance.
Its good to have one though so you can meet people
& be apart of some nice people. You would be surprised
at how some churches have been able to be an
asset to thier community. Churches tend to be a big
help when government resources have not panned
out for some people. Clothes donations & food
donations. Sometimes people have been burned out
of thier trailers or houses & got clothes from a church
for families of fire trageties. To each thier own to
find what suits them.Don't misunderstand.Nice people are found everywhere.
Sometimes a church can be an icebreaker for meeting people for the
first time.

Sorry, but I disagree, I believe what I want to believe. To be a part of a church is different from being part of a religion. The church is the assembly of all the followers of a specific religious belief, while religion in general is what you believe. I believe a lot of the stuff I was taught in a catholic school, but I don't agree with all of the catholic views and opinions, therefore I have refined my own beliefs, and created my own religion. Its not like I am saying I am right or wrog in doing so, but why should I follow the beliefs of Catholicism as if they are rules, when in fact, I don't believe them myself.
By the way, I put a #10 on the poll for other, cuz a born again Christian didn't come to mind when I was making the poll.
Can you explain Born Again Christian to me, cuz it sounds like bologna, but I might be wrong, and I want you to tell me if I am wrong!

LOL Awww Horty I don't even know what your religion is? I am a Catholic. Well baptisted one anyways. I don't follow it. To me you can pray to god in your own home or in a church or on a busy street, as long as you do praise him and follow him. There are a dozen or so religions, who is to say what is right or wrong. I don't see someone and think "Oh my I bet he is baptiast by how he is acting" I either thnk you are retarded or a nice person. Just like I don't assume all nice people are the same religion as me. When i meet my maker I will let him decide if I went through life right or wrong.

But I do take my kids to church on holidays. Why not go to the lord's house for his birthday and the day he rose fromt he grave?

I like how a mere Junior member can spark the interest of a JOKAROO ENTHUSIAST!!! I am so excited about that...
I like the way YOU think about religion...Its what you make of it...If you think God wants you to act a certain way, and not act a certain way, then you should do that. If you don't do what you personally think God wants us to do, then you are the ones God judges...or something. As long as you follow your own beliefs, God will know that you were at least trying.

And now that I mention it, THOSE JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES...What is up with them??? They think that only certain ppl can benefit from eternal life(heaven stuff), and they have to be Jehovah's witnesses...No one else can, just them...what the HELL!!! They also think that Heaven will be on Earth...Personally, I think Earth is supposed to be our reasont to want to get our asses into heaven.

LOL You mention Jehovah's Witnesses and I think of Mormens (spelled wrong?) well anyways, I was at Red Cross one day in the states on a visit picking up some stuff and as I was pulling out of the parking lot I hit one that was on a bike. OMG scariest thing in my life. Here we are on the busiest street in my city and these dudes are riding the opposite way of traffic. So i was looking the other way to see if any cars were coming and they shot out of the driveway of the company next door to Red Cross and I hit one. Bent his tire. I felt horrible. If I go to hell it will because of that. I paid him for a new tire and he gave me some movie thing to watch on their religion and that was that. No cops or anythig like that. THANK THE GOOD LORD!!!

Well, mormons are different from jehovah's witnesses, Mormon actually consider themselves christian, but they totally made shit up about Jesus, so they aren't.

AND too bad!!! next time, pretend you didn't notice the Jehovah's witness under the tire(just a lame, bad, and probably unnecesary joke)
