I go by merit, honor and actual behavior not rethoric. How do you judge or accomidate your 'associates' by the tides flow or the moon's gravitational pull?
Let us be real about life. There are those that just don't bend to the whims of the 'gang' mentality and those of us that stand for something other than a premise of 'group!' Question is my young learned collegue where do you stand in life. By virtue or gangland pressure? I am merely an outsider, but in such a short time I see the dynamics...can you honestly say with your obvious intellectual insight you don't? I like most people, I hate not a single person, but I am able to discern the person from their behavior, are you? I think so, time and time again you have proven, yes proven not prooven lmao that you are insightful,and intellegent Highest regards, but yet a straight shooter no matter how bad my spelling is at this time of night. Now, maybe that's just because I am somewhat jaded, and so that is how I perceive these to be...and maybe you actually mean them with a pure heart. And so maybe I need to change my way of thinking (isn't that a Dylan song?)... But then, maybe not. I guess only you would know for sure. At any rate, I have my own beliefs (as do we all), and stand up for what I believe in here...if I feel there is a point to be made. But, really...let's face it...humans are all just creatures of habit, and your arguments, no matter how profound or succinct, are not going to change my beliefs or views, any more than my best arguments would change yours. The only thing that will make me change my beliefs, is if I choose to change my thinking...and that is an internal change, not an external one. In light of my beliefs (see above), I adjust my behaviour accordingly. If people don't like that, they can choose to deal with it in whatever manner they see fit. It really makes no difference to me one way or the other. At any rate, I appreciate your insight and your wisdom, and the unique mix you bring to this place, as much as I do anyone else...and I try to accept your shortcomings, as much as I know people here have accepted my own. haha...again, I'd *like* to say I do unto others as I'd have done to myself...but that just isn't always the case. Aha, even in the debate section that takes low priority per his own comment to Flynn. I fear this is yet another strike against me as I have been temp banned without notice for something I still content was ill understood and something that is blatantly committed by oh so many members yet they and their comments and pictures remain. Being a fairly less than young man, I can deal with the hypocrisy, I rather not but I also want to stay a member so I am very careful as to my wording of each and every post. Now this sense of doom thrust upon me doesn't allow me to 'speak' freely and with my natural gift to gab LMAO...so my usage of certain terms and phrases may seem prefunctitory, but Sir, I try to be steadfast in one of the virtues my mother instilled in me and that is to speak the truth as I understand it and in accordance with my values and morals. Being an uneducated farm boy I have much to learn and my language skill may not be up to par with the more educated ones of the board, but I do try my best to be upfront and honest with my statements. Actually, I also think we may be being "mothered" a little too much in some ways lately...we should be able to work this out ourselves, since we're supposedly adults...but again, whatever...
Anyways, I hope things are alright after the lightning strike. BTW...has anyone heard anything further from the media on Georgia? I haven't really searched it out yet, but I will...I was just wondering what was being thrown around by the media about this these days... Or perhaps this was just the first move in what may turn out to be an elaborately choreographed play...and this was just setting the stage for the next act...kinda like the events leading up to the 911 incident. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel like we're all being played (for suckers) here....??!?

Yeah it is a joke site and there are plenty of sections on this joke site to have a laugh. So yeah ! Jokeroo is a joke site but the debate board ( my opinion only ) is supposed to be a place where issues can be discussed and debated. Throw in the occasional member bashing jibe because you know the information you are responding to is not the truth as you know it and get a good belly laugh from that or some of the fictional stories members expect others to believe. But try and keep it on topic. One of my posts that was deleted was about observing the spirit of the law rather than the letter of the law. Too many members are finding loopholes in the invisible rule book. |
