Ice

Have you ever considered admitting how wrong you are when it's pointed out to you ?

Ice/Speed, one in the same, strange how you overlooked that.

You know Flynn, I could do like you and change the subject if I am wrong. The nicknames ice/speed might be common in your area but I have never heard speed called ice. In this area there are several different nicknames for speed such as bennies, west coast turnarounds, yellowjackets, pink hearts and many others but never ice..

Try taking the advice from your first statement and using it yourself..

It's not..
The Truth about Ice

Have you heard people talking about “Ice” and why it’s bad for you? Then you wondered why ice is bad for you when isn’t ice the solid form of water??? Nah, we’re just joking…we know you’re probably saying “hello…get with the program” right about now but anyway, in the next few minutes, we’ll be talking a little more about the drug called Ice.

Ice also is known as crystal, ice cream, shabu, crank, meth and batu. It is an illegal drug that is a highly addictive form of the synthetic substance, methamphetamine. It is a clear crystal that looks a lot like chipped ice, rock candy, or Hawaiian salt and is high in purity. The high from Ice can last anywhere from 7 to 24 hours. If you’ve heard of crystal meth, it’s chemically the same but looks a lot different. lace>Crystal ace> meth is usually in powder form and unlike Ice’s high purity, crystal meth can vary and the high usually lasts between 2 to 4 hours.

Ice can be injected, inhaled, smoked, or taken orally. As stated before, ice is highly addictive and it has tremendous effects on your central nervous system. Short-term effects include mind and mood changes such as: anxiety, euphoria, and depression. It also can make you have dry mouth, decreased appetite, and increased pulse rate. Long-term effects can include chronic fatigue, paranoid or delusional thinking, and permanent psychological damage. You can end up being awake for days at a time which can have some serious effects on your body.

Ice is highly addictive. Not all people that use Ice will become addicts but many do. People addicted to it will sometimes go to the extremes to get more the drug. In many cases, people start dealing drugs to support their own drug habit. Some signs and symptoms of ice use include: not being able to sleep, increased sensitivity to noise, hyperactive behavior like being extremely talkative, nervous physical activity like scratching, irritability, dizziness or confusion. Weight loss, tremors and/or convulsions, increased heart rate, high blood pressure, and dilated pupils are also other sign and symptoms of ice use.

Some people may tell you that you can’t get hurt or addicted from using Ice or for that matter any other drugs only once in a while, but that’s not totally true. In the most recent study done in lace>Hawaii lace>, over 14,000 middle and high school students were in need of treatment for their addictions to drugs and/or alcohol.

It’s true that Ice will affect everyone differently depending on brain chemistry, other drugs already in the body, the amount taken, person’s tolerance level, state of health, and so on and so forth. However, research has proven that Ice use is dangerous and hazardous to a person’s well-being and health. If you are ever thinking about using it, remember there are consequences. Besides physical consequences, there may be social consequences such as jail time and losing friends.

AND FOR THE RECORD....My son is NOT a user, I said 'he's in a circle that makes him vulnerable'...
He's been here all this weekend helping me around the house and garden because his dad's not here to help....

"Nice how it works out for some people" innit??? Screw you cock!
