I coach football (soccer for our American friends) and I also work as a function dj. Are these the only two jobs out there where people hire a professional and then assume that they know more about the job than the person that they have hired?
Example: After 15years of coaching, attending numerous courses to learn more and creating a highly successful club I still get parents, who's only qualification is that they once kicked a ball (badly) as a child, trying to tell me that they know better than I, the Scottish football Association and every scientific study into children in sport. Example: After working as a dj for 27 years I find people approaching me, who have never done a disco in their life, to tell me, "that music is sh**, play XYZ instead." It doesn't seem to matter that the dance floor is full and has been all night. They know better. I wouldn't hire a plumber and then tell him that he is using the wrong pipe or tube. Why do people do this? |

I totally get both of you. In fact, something like this happened to my former hich school last year. All I can say is, I don't like it when people criticize me for what I do. I am only human and I am not perfect! I think the only person who can run your life better, is yourself!
