Did you know that McCain's first wife (a swimsuit model) was horribly injured in a car crash and ended up with one leg shorter than the other - basically a cripple.
McCain dumped her for his present (rich) wife who he had been cheating with for some time. Ah yes, character is so important in the race for the presidency. Speaking of rich - does anybody know whether McCain has EVER had a real job? Has he been a politician ALL of his adult life except for the short time he was in the military? Instead of working for his bread, he married a rich woman. As I recall, that was thrown at John Kerry by the Repubs over and over. Wonder why you don't hear of that from them now? Speaking of the military, did you know that if he hadn't been the son and grandson of Navy bigwigs, he probably would not have been able to get into Annapolis (where he finished VERY low down in his class). |

Normally, I'd do the same, but since McCain/Palin have decided to throw mud, seemed fair to do the same. On difference is that I tried using actual fact. |

I honestly don't care for that since that is in the past, people making a big deal over some personal decisions........ hell, I have never looked down on what Mr.Clinton did with Monica....... It isn't personal decisions that matter, rather what they do related to laws.........

'Atta boy! ![]() Actually, even if you don't like Liberals, you pretty much have to, just because the Republicans have grown so corrupt. What I like about your stance, is that even if your loyalties might lie with a certain party, you're not afraid to think for yourself, and question your government. So many people are too afraid to take a stand like that, so kudos to you for doing so. We actually had a similar situation in Canada before, where it was the Canadian Liberal party that had grown corrupt under Jean Chretien, and then later under his former Finance minister, Paul Martin. So, even though I didn't particularly like Harper, I simply couldn't (in good conscience) vote Liberal that time around.

I suppose if you would see my point, you might agree with me..... here is a history lesson in why I hold something very personal against the Republicans........ Back in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan told Lithuania (where 50% of my heritage is from as well as my mother's father......) that should they break away from the Soviet Union, he would help them in a heartbeat........ Well, it did happen in 1990, when the USSR (or what was left of it) was crumbling like a wet cookie. Lithuania asked the then Republican (Mr. Bush Sr) for some help...... Well, he never sent it, and worst of all, The U.S. was one of the last nations to reconize Lithuania as a legitimate nation........ I guess it shows you how much they value their allies, one minute they are worth gold, next they are worth nothing............. |
