America's Black Budget and the Manipulation of Mortgage & Financial Markets...
A very interesting (though pretty lengthy) read...found here: Scoop: America's Black Budget & Manipulation Of Markets Like I said, it's a long one, so I will only post the link here...but it might be worth the time to check it out... It was an interview done with this chick: Catherine Austin Fitts, Founder & President of Solari, Inc. back in May 22, 2004... Here's a little blurb about Catherine Austin Fitts (for anyone who cares about such things): As President of Solari, Inc., Catherine is currently spearheading the Solari Circles Campaign to help make healthy local living economies the best investment worldwide. Catherine previously served as Managing Director and Member of the Board of Directors of the Wall Street investment bank, Dillon, Read & Co., Inc. She also served as Assistant Secretary of Housing/Federal Housing Commissioner at HUD in the first Bush Administration, and was the President and Founder of Hamilton Securities Group, Inc., a broker-dealer/investment bank and software developer that successfully completed $12 billion of transactions and $500 billion of portfolio strategy prototyping the solari model. Catherine has a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from The Wharton School, and studied Chinese at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Catherine serves on the advisory board of Sanders Research Associates in London, and publishes the column Mapping the Real Deal in Scoop Media in New Zealand. And to think the Bush administration just got $700 Billion MORE from the American taxpayers...willingly....just like that.
So...uh....does anyone feel like they're being played yet...?

haha...and you'll be pleased to know it's basically neutral, politically-speaking...
in other words, it says that they're all a bunch of thieving bastards...though...it does say that Bush simply stopped claiming how much was 'going missing' during his second term...pretty much since the beginning of his second term.

I came to the conclusion a long time ago, that no matter who is in there, they are going to do what is best for themselves and their friends ...
![]() so unless you are on their friends list, you don't matter!!!

Actually...there may be some audio links here:
Financial Sense Newshour's Ask The Expert - Catherine Austin Fitts - 05/22/2004 I also thought this was kind of interesting...it's from the lead-in to the transcript. Investors benefit from understanding the federal budget, credit policies and covert intervention that drive markets -- often overriding fundamental economics. How has the US governmental apparatus become so powerful in the marketplace and what does it mean to the health of our economy? How unstable is the mortgage bubble and where are the opportunities for investors if the bubble bursts? **************

I think that is because people have allowed it to happen. Government is supposed to be accountable to the people, not the other way around. I think complacency and indifference have brought America to a culmination point with George Dubya Bush at the helm, and what happens in this election will have an effect on not only America, but also the world and its economy. Essentially, as I see it, if America elects Obama, then they're saying that they've had it with the known corruption of the Republican party, and are willing to try a fresh start with Obama and the Democrats. If they elect macabre McCain, then they're saying that they not only condone the known corruption of the Republican party, but that they are just basically bending over (willingly), and just waiting to be f**ked. Then the people who voted for McCain will have no right to complain, as I see it...though chances are, they still will. It's just human habit. Well, unless, of course, if you're part of the super-wealthy...then life will be peachy for you, McCain, and his 7 mansions.

Obama will not be able to change this. Our government is a bureaucracy. Part of the problem is you have to rely on your agency heads to tell you the truth. If they do not you cannot get a good picture of what is really happening. The greed people have the system all locked up.

Well, on the one hand, I'd agree with you. However, on the other...if Bill Clinton was able to finish his time in office with a surplus in the budget, then I think that maybe it might be enough time for Obama to do the same...though baby Bush has dug America into a much deeper hole than his daddy did, so I doubt that Obama could turn it around so quickly...but you never know. Then again, I've heard it said that Clinton was all a part of the whole big-picture scheme that I think you're referring to, so maybe it was just all for show...and to placate the masses, before the final push to where ever it is they are pushing us all towards...
