Some humans question the validity of Christian teaching because they are not gormless dolts who just accept fairy tales as being real.

Religion is a product of sociology and geography.

If you were born in Indonesia you would most probably be a Muslim and your religious heritage would be born from the Koran.

Might it be coz the ant and man exist, and god doesn't? And if that's not the case, then why did he let the nasty man stand on the ant? another one of his creatures, he does appear a tad careless at times.

So you think God has to prove himself daily by not allowing us to use the brain and intelligence he gave us? He should intervene at every bank robbery, at every mugging, at every shooting, everytime a mother chooses to beat or murder her child, everytime a person decides to pick up a hitchhiker, kill them and chop up their body into a million pieces...everytime somebody decides to use another human being as a bomb detinator or a human bomb to destroy others, are you serious?

God is present at these events but the person in question, the brain, the heart has not taken God into their lives, instead they've opted for the hornier being, and I don't mean that in a sexual manner. Do you expect God to reach down from the heavens each and everytime we opt to do something we shouldn't do and slap us in the face and make us stop...??? I ask you....who lives in a fairytale world now?

I'm aware of the pain and suffering in the world, we all are and it's devistating, for God as well, but he has a plan. I believe he takes the souls he needs first, and at a very young age, I won't even attempt to explain that one, because I dont' even know myself, but I believe he has his reasons, reasons we sometimes question, but that's where faith falls into play. I've questioned him myself, what human being hasn't?

Everytime God's existance is questioned this is about the only arguement you can fall back on...why is that? We have our own will...it's up to us to do the right thing. We raise our children to do the right thing don't we...do we follow them around all day and night to make sure of it and to stop them from doing wrong? NO! As parents we've given them the tools they need to know right from wrong, it's up to them now to use them.

If you can prove that God DOESN"T exist without the use of this crap then I'd like to hear it...go ahead, we're all waiting.

I am not stupid. I DO question it....all the time. But in my heart I know HE exists. Should I deny what I believe in my heart to be true because you dont' happen to believe it also? Would that make me more intelligent?

Ya know, I was just thinking about what a friend of mine said. "We'll never agree about God"
This is probably quite true. But, as Christians, it is our duty to try and spread the gospel. Though most don't want to hear it.
But, anyway, my point is that we can't change minds either way in this thread.
So my question remains of the OP. What purpose does this thread serve but to belittle and insult Christians, if no opposite viewpoints are considered????
