this one tickles me.. it could be my grandmother with her headscarf on peeling potatoes.. and seeing as she had 13 kids she wasnt a virgin... perhaps I should inform the family granny is on a stone!

AR

At what point do you seperate the image of Jesus on a KFC drumstick from the other mysteries like Noahs Arc and the Stone Tablets of the Ten Commandments.

The stories are so far fetched they are unbelievable.

If God wanted to confuse the humans he made in his own image then he is doing a great job of it.

exactly flynn.. I cant understand why people flock to a building or a fence post or whatevet to see these things.. isnt their faith strong enough? I think if any biblical figure was to *return* it wouldn't be like this...

Maybe it isn't the Christian who is fooled. Ever stop to consider that maybe - just maybe - it is a miracle.
I dont know if it is or not...

BUT if God so chooses to use meatloaf, bread, pancakes, or whatever to give one maybe two ppl a small miracle - then that's up to Him.

It does have an uncanny resemblence.
Probably will draw them closer to God.

Until you ask God yourself if these were genuine - why speculate?

I dont care if it occurs - but if it does - i do consider it a personal miracle for the person who sees it and draws closer to God.

Christians - if you debated some in apologetics - would eat ya'll alive. Very intellectual.

"It does have an uncanny resemblence"

to what ??

No one alive today has ever seen the virgin mary. The only resemblance there can be is that it MIGHT look like someone some artist created.

It's a fairly basic and fundamental thing to have wrong, The Virgin Mary, Catholics pray to her, other Christians say you are wasting your time because Mary can not hear your prayers, only God and or Jesus can hear your prayers and take on your sin.

When christians can't agree on the fundmentals of their own religion how do they expect Muslims to throw off the shackles of the religion they were born with and convert to Christianity ?
I'd say it's like being alot pregnant lol you don't know if it's a boy or a girl, you don't know if it's gonna have blonde hair or red, you don't know if there'll be blue eyes or brown, but one thing is for sure, it's gonna be a baby! lol

I've used this analogy before, but it just works so well! hubby and I took a trip to Canada, 58 days and 11,500 miles, when retelling the story, we both tell it differently, because we each remember what was important to us, does that mean that one of us or neither of us took the trip? or that one of us is wrong and the other right? the trip was real, and so are our *own* perceptions of it, the only thing that is different is what we remember

I mean to say if God wanted credibility then of course he would send an iconic picture of Mary to a hamburger joint to be witnessed by upstanding citizens in their wrestling costumes.

We debate you here Pat and you lose on a regular basis.

Tell your intellectual friends to come debate us here, they couldn't do any worse than you do !
