If you think that $1.48 is so little money, then why didn't you just pay for the candy bar like every other law abiding citizen has to???

I always tell my daughter that a big part of growing up and taking responsibility for ourselves is being able to understand right from wrong. She asked me one day, why do we have to wear seatbelts.....among other reasons I gave her, one was simply this.....because it's the law. We don't always agree with it but it's there for a reason. I know why the law to make the proper use of seatbelts mandatory has been issued....do you?

It's hard to disagree with the logic that if it is illegal then don't do it.

So far, my posts on this subject ( as far as my short term memory permits ) I have not stated whether I personally use marijuana.

My posts indicate that I have purchased an amount of marijuana in the past for Christmas and New year celebrations. Which of course I acknowledge is illegal.

I personally just don't like smoke, period. I really don't think it's good for our respiratory system. However, I would probably be more inclined to chew the stuff...and I would think that would be less damaging than the consumption of alcohol. haha...too bad they made rum taste so damn good...

Anyways, personal preferences aside, I think they probably should legalize it...and then tax the hell out of it.

While they're at it, they should legalize prostitution too...and then tax the hell out of it too.

haha...I think we would not only lower the deficit, but also the divorce rate as well...since so many men would be in much better moods when they got home...
