Thumbs down Transparency

Then why are Reid, Dodd, and Baucus meeting behind closed doors to hammer out a bill?
Why can't I see these talks on C-Span?
Who else is the room? SEIU? Apollo? Acorn?

transparency in rule of law?
a higher authority in the constitution,

where in the constitution does it say that you can drive the country into shit tons of debt? where in the constitution does it say that you can shove a bill down the peoples throat?

where in the constitution does it say that you should ignore your promises and pander to those who control you?

it's not just obama who is guilty of these things as a president, nixon, regan, clinton, bush? i'm starting to think that we haven't had a decent president since washington... i mean even jefferson was a douchebag for crying out loud

history is great but it's starting to piss me off.. i seriously need a study break

All of these thing are out of hand, agreed.
My point against Obama is that he declared, through Executive Order, to make all negotiations, in regards to upcoming legislation, transparent and veiwable...

As part of his transparency initiative, Obama has released the White Hous visitor logs.
#1 most visits = the head of SEIU

But then...if the people didn't hold them accountable, whose fault is/was it, really?

I believe what Shkeeptareh is saying, is not that 'these things ARE out of hand', but rather that they have been out of hand for quite some time...

I guess it just never bothered you while Bush, Reagan, or Bush Sr. were at the helm...but now, all of a sudden, because it's Obama, it's now unacceptable...

Ok..if they got voted once..but if it happens twice and more???
and I mean our Blair/Brown and Merkel too...
when everbody is complaining..how comes that they get elected again

that mistake can maybe happen once but not twice..lol
its like when they had 4 yrs.to do there stuff...and didnt ..
folks fall for it again and believe that the same party will get it sorted in the next 4 years ..unbelievable
i mean merkel s slogan was now..with us at power we ll get us out of the recession...
hello...she has been kanzler the 4 years b4 too
Oh well..lol

Too young for Reagan, but all the graphs show growth under his watch.
Still too young (or I was just too stoned to care) for GHW, but he should've finished what he started in Iraq.
The pot-head in me voted for Clinton the 1st time.
GWB started to piss me off, too, into his second term.

People are getting tired of things being "out of hand". We're about to see a wave of 'independents'.
