Default Fort Hood Masacre and Immigrants

Australia has several boat loads of Sri Lankan refugees wanting to queue jump processed refugees by paying US $15,000 to people smugglers to get them here.

They don't want to declare their identities.

The Australian government does not want to let unidentified Sri Lankans into this country until they have gone through a due process of identification.

After the Fort Hood massacre there is justifiable reason to closing Western borders.

Nadal Hasan may have been born in America but his sympathies lie elsewhere.

Texas massacre suspect wounded but alive - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

quote ABC News

An army major who killed 12 people at a United States military base today reportedly faced harassment because of his religion and was about to be deployed to Iraq.
Military psychiatrist Major Nidal Hasan, 39, is still alive and in hospital after opening fire at Fort Hood in Texas, killing 12 people and injuring 31, in one of the worst killing sprees ever reported on a US military base.
The commander of the base, Lieutenant General Bob Cone, said Hasan was "shot multiple times at the scene" by a female civilian officer.
"He was not killed as previously reported. He is currently in custody and in stable condition," he said, adding Hasan was undergoing surgery for his wounds.
"He's not currently speaking to investigators."
The shooting took place as soldiers were awaiting medical treatment at a processing centre for troops being deployed on missions to Iraq and Afghanistan

I know what you mean flynn
same here
apart from everybody else though
... I dont think we have sri lanken migrants waiting here( yet )
the 9/11 bombers studdied aviation in hamburg germany
we have an al quaeda member, now at the pakistan border in hide out-
who threatened germany b4 our election,
he lived near bonn, germany and married a german.
The london bombers were born ,brought up in the UK
and the scottish bombers were doctors practising in a scottish hospital
but its the first time..I think it happened in the states now...
that one of there own did an attack against there own folks...
on homeground

Yes I know 9/11..but the attackers wasnt americans..
if you know what I mean.
It comes to a shock when it happens..
and even more when it was done by a sleeper/converted/ terrorist.
*from wiki:
A sleeper agent is a spy who is placed in a target country or organization,
not to undertake an immediate mission, but rather to act as a potential asset if activated

Those sleeper agents who have been discovered have often been natives of the target country
who moved elsewhere in early life and been co-opted
(perhaps for ideological or ethnic reasons)
before returning to the target country.
This is valuable to the sponsor as the sleeper's language
and other skills can be those of a 'native'
and thus less likely to trigger suspicion.

Anna

It does look like he did it for personal reasons.

His Muslim way of life did not suit his Western life style.

The psychiatrist once said that "Muslims should stand up and fight against the aggressor" and that the United States shouldn't be fighting the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place, according to an interview with Col. Terry Lee, a co-worker, on Fox News.

At the Muslim Community Center, Hasan stood out because he would sometimes show up in Army fatigues, said Faizul Khan, the former imam there.

"He came to mosque one or two times to see if there were any suitable girls to marry," Khan said. "I don't think he ever had a match, because he had too many conditions. He wanted a girl who was very religious, prays five times a day."

Below is an extract from Fox News the most reliable and unbiased News service in the world.

Before Thursday's shooting, Hasan reportedly gave away all of his furniture along with copies of the Koran to neighbors, KXXV-TV reported.

Authorities have not ruled out that Hasan was acting on behalf of some unidentified radical group, a senior U.S. official in Washington said. He would not say whether any evidence had come to light to support that theory.

The motive for the shooting wasn't clear, but Hasan was apparently set to deploy soon, and had expressed some anger about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, said generals at Fort Hood told her that Hasan was about to deploy overseas.

Retired Army Col. Terry Lee, who said he worked with Hasan, told Fox News that Hasan had hoped President Barack Obama would pull troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq. Hasan got into frequent arguments with others in the military who supported the wars, Lee said, and had tried hard to prevent his pending deployment.

If he was the psychiatrist..and didnt agree with things
I feel for his patients who came and seeked help before
deployment..
they mite not agreed with everything either
but had to go and do the job,or been afraid of going.
(Or the ones who needed help coming back of deployment)
What support could he have been!?!

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan, or more to the point, Tamal Tiger freedom fighters refuse to return to Indonesia and demand that they be accepted by Australia ahead of refugees in various camps around the world.

Why do Western countries have to take third world refugees ?

Our societies, slowly but surely are being altered to accomadate the traditional beliefs of our newest arrivals.

He got his medical degree through the military and they demanded that he serve out his time before he goes into private practice.

If it's on Fox News its gotta be true.
It depends for how long he was due to go on deployment..
Here they only go for 6 mths.on special occaccions maybe 7/8 mths.
but I think americans go for even longer...
It is quiet normal that soldiers get rid of some clutter
before they leave( for probly a year on deployment)
same when they get posted to a new location and are moving and some furniture wont fit anymore at the new place..or is getting replaced by some new one...
If he would have come back of deployment- imagine what he would have saved up..especially as a major...for new furniture..lol
Its not unusual for military families to receive some furniture of friends and neighbours who are leaving.
In his case i admit though..it looks like it was a bit different..lol

not sri lankan but

Last month, France razed a shanty town

populated by illegal immigrants

wanting to cross into the United Kingdom.

Critics say the action has left one group

of immigrants particularly at risk – children.

Very few make it through, as Afghan migrant Nassir Khan Nassiri
knows from personal experience.
"(It's) very dangerous," he said. "Every night I try, seven months no chance."
Nassiri is among the estimated several hundred Afghani refugees
in Calais who are determined to make it across to England
where there is an established Afghan community
End station
Because of this, Calais has become a cul-de-sac on the numerous illegal migrant routes that lead to England from places like Iraq, Afghanistan
and the Horn of Africa. However, improved border controls in Calais
in recent years have meant that fewer migrants make it over the Channel, a circumstance that has produced an accumulation of migrants
in the port town.
The French government said the camp was closed in order to demonstrate that Calais was no longer the last stop before England. But critics like Sylvie Copyans of the migrant aid organization Salam, say the government's action hasn't solved the problem.

In Calais, undocumented immigrants older than 18 are in hiding. They sleep in empty apartments and warehouses and avoid Calais and its heavily-policed streets. Under-age immigrants, however, are immune from deportation and are therefore less wary.

Children sleeping rough
The result is that downtown Calais has become a kind of nightmarish Neverland - with mostly under-age Afghan migrants,
some as young as 12, taking refuge under its bridges and in its parks.
Most of these children are brought to France by a relay of people smugglers that stretches back to Afghanistan.
The entire journey costs between 7,000 and 10,000 euro
($10,000 to $15,000), released in stages when the child
arrives at a given destination and calls home.

Nassir Khan Nassiri has now given up and is now applying for asylum in France after fleeing from Taliban persecution in Afghanistan. In fact, though, he would prefer to be at home than anywhere else.
"I like my country, Afghanistan," he said. "I like my life, I like my family. But life in my country is big problem - if I go back, they kill me."

**************************************** *************
Beats me how the refugees have over 7000 bucks to pay to a
smuggler to get them out of there...what is with poor folk who hasnt got the money...
So the ones(poor)who would need help the most..have to stick up with there situation!?!
