ESP....clairvoyance

One time, many years ago, I was breaking up with a boyfriend...
and was staying at someone's house in (oakland) and he lived in beechview.

I was awoke by his voice at 2 am.

I called a cab, and left immediately.....got there about 2:30ish...to find him tightening a noose and he had a few letters written to me and his family how selfish he going to be by killing himself.
He had made absolutely no comment in regards to his plans...and he had finished writing my letter.

He must have been thinking what to say to me, when I heard his voice, and I felt this strong compulsion to go see him immediately.

So, he absolutely intended to kill himself. I got there in time, and needless to say he changed his mind.

However, as of late, I have been worried about him, and we broke up in 1989...officially. We remained good friends since...and he has moved to SC...and has a new g/f...who is not a very good choice for him. I have no way of contacting him, since he changed his phone number.

I sure hope he is ok.


Do you believe in ESP?

I could tell ya many stories about this 'thing' that happens to me...but what do ya think?
I personally and obviously believe all ppl have the ability...and I often wonder how.

well i couldn't tell ya how... i have always had these "feelings" sometimes they drive me nuts but i have found when i "pay ateention" they have real meaning... make sense? lol

i definately believe. about a month or two ago my fiance wrecked his car and it was wrapped around a tree. i had gotten off work and was sleeping when i woke up in terrible pain. i couldnt breathe and my ribs were killing me. i looked over at the computer and he was there leaving me a message that he had wrecked and had probably broken a few ribs. i knew then that i was feeling his pain. he said that the way the car was wrapped around the tree, he was lucky to be alive and says that i was an angel on his shoulders that day. (by the way, my fiance and i are back together. we've talked everything over and he said that despite the age difference, he cant get over me. we're going to Arizona sometime in february to visit his oldest daughter, who is 36, for a few weeks. wooohoooooo lol)

I definetly belive in it when I was 10 I woke up at 1:50 am from a bad dream my father was hurt 5 minutes later the hospital called my mother and told her he was in a car wreck and she should get there right away.

WOW..., so as I suspected, everyone has it.

I do believe we have a sixth sense....even tho we have sceptics (What would the world be without them...) these stories are fascinating. :thumbsup:

Whether it's ESP, Angels, or whatever you want to call it there is definitely something about this whole thing. I have a deep and abiding faith in God and this believe doesn't conflict with my faith in the least. I too have had experiences that defy explanation. So has my mother and husband. I believe that some are much more sensative or in tune than most but I think that everyone has had experiences similar. Most people just pass it off or make a "logical" reason as to why it happened.

Your right patrish i think everyone does have a sixth sense.....Not so much as "I see dead people" but have that "gut feeling" I know I do ,but mostly with my kids. When they were younger it was stronger. I could always sense when they weren't feeling good. I'll be watching t.v. and get the feeling that I might have a fever ,take my temperture and I won't have one. Then about that same time one of them would get up claiming they didn't feel good and they would end up having a temperature and such.....Then after I give them something to help them feel better ,I would feel like my fever or such has gone away also.....Weird..

Yea, we have a deep and penetrating connection to our loved ones.
I hope so too, Joe...I think he might be ok, but I have no way of finding out.

here is another issue. I have this one close buddy...who anytime he is in need of tt me, I dream of him, and turns out he wanted to tt me.

I have dreamt many things with regard to how he is doing...and it is always so accurate it is frightening.

There are many people who would declair us heratics.
And in the days of the Salem Witch trials we'd be burned at the stake for even talking about this subject. Some societal changes are good.
I can touch my husband even when he is thousands of miles away. He's a truck driver and we found this out by accident. I was on the phone with a friend of mine and missing my new hubby a lot. I was telling her this and saying that I wish he were here so I could just touch him. I then described what I would do as he slept next to me. She laughed and said "You got it bad girl. Love has you in it's grips." I laughed and we said goodbye.
When he came home I did exactly what I had wanted to do when he was gone. He wasn't quite asleep and he suddenly bolted upright in bed. "That's what I dreamed of you doing to me the other night and it woke me up then too. It seemed like you were really touching me." Needless to say I called my friend the next day. She told him about what I was telling her and about what time the call took place. He just went pale. It was about the same time. No, it wasn't sexual but we've experimented with psychic foreplay and decided that unless I know he's not driving that I shouldn't be doing that. Makes it hard to concentrate on the driving. Not good if you have 80,000lbs behind you!!!

Nah....like I said, only the skeptics would act like it isnt real...and usually they havent developed it.

I believe in ESP, I myself don't have it very strongly and only occaisionally will I get a weird feeling about something and it usually turns out right. But my husbands family have it strong and can actually make predictions that come true! Sometime it is scarey though since when I have those feelings it is usually something bad about to happen.

Well mine are more of a warning to stop, go the other way, get out of somewhere, etc.
When we went camping last summer, it rained before we went and a little once we were there. We were camped along a creek that flowed into the Allegheny River about 50 yards away. The second night there were severe storm warnings and once the rain started, I began to have a very bad feeling that we should get out of there. It kept pouring and getting worse so hubby and the girls finally agreed with me and we ran through the storm, broke camp and packed up the van in 10 min. We almost didn't get out because of the mud, but succeeded and found a motel close by but on top of the mountain. When we woke up in the morning and watched the news, we found out that the river was above flood stage and the highest it has been in years. If we didn't leave, we would have gotten flooded out and lost all of our stuff, maybe even the van.

During the Salem Witch Trials they learned that by using religion, they could control society in a most devastating manor. It was from then that we were taught to ignor our inner feelings, not to talk about them, and if it couldn't be seen or had a rational explaination then it had to be evil. A very discusting time indeed and the effects of peoples ignorance are still felt to this day....... very very sad.

Yep, I seem to get this kind most of the time, like being at a party and getting the feeling that you should leave before something happens and no sooner do you leave than a fight breaks out or the police show up. (not recently but when I was underage)

Salem witch trials were unfortunate...and so glad ppl must realise ti is in the bible...about women having intuition that man cannot understand. It also has 'dreams' of prophecy everywhere too...so we know dreams are also from God.

So, unfortunately, the women who were murdered at those trials...evidently didnt have those parts in the bible, or werent heard because that was sheer hate in those days.

Not that witchcraft, if even they did that, is good, but gees...kill them?

Yep, Lara, many gossiping stories 'harmed' others...and innocent deaths because of spite and jealousy. God rest their souls.
