Thank you Patrish! People aren't reading past replies on other pages, they are too wrapped up in a joke someone made and are now debating that as well.
I feel bad for those who were involved it has gotten way out of control, over a stupid joke(see troll aprec. thread, nasty pm's being sent people leaving etc) that may or may not have been funny.
I am almost sorry I started this thread. And to those of you it has caused grief;
I sincerly apologize for starting this.
Hugs to you Patrish!

Thanks Vampy... I try to read all replies.

LadyDe..., I am going to say only this about the fact you prefer dogs....it says that you get along better, and feel more comfy with men, than with women.

Don't get this wrong.. you get along with other women, but prefer men's companionship...because you are more relaxed.

Pop psychology I suppose...I cannot remember where I read it...but I did read it.
Just thot I would add that reply.

I LIKE BOTH CATS AND DOGS...AND DID I MENTION DOLPHINS? LOVE EM BTW.

And about that joke...everyone says or does something on the spur of the moment...rash impulses happen.
I cannot say if it is right or wrong...cos I know I have let an insult slip a time of two in my life.

DID I truly feel that way?? Only for that one split second...then wished I could take the words back and eat em...{Sans ketchup it is hard to chew}

SO, if we all enjoy being forgiven...let's forgive. AND forget. Love and
Peace!!

A lot of people dont put collars on their cats. I never even thought about puting collars on mine until this issue, but I would consider myself a responsible pet owner. My cats are healthy and happy. I take them to the vet and they all have their shots. Just because they dont wear a collar doesn't mean they are not a pet (and it doesn't mean that the cats owners is irresponsible either). Yes, maybe they should have collars but honestly I dont think most people really think about it.
I dont think it is right for these people to start shooting cats feral or not.You might not give a shit about that cat you just shot, but someone might! If you want to do something about it put out cages and bring them to the humane society so if the cat does belong to somebody, they at least have the chance to come and claim it. If the cat does not belong to somebody, it is the humane societies problem and if it is necessary, then they can put the animal to sleep in a humane way!
How many of you guys actually like cats, just curious.

I have two.
Both neutered.
Both wearing flea collars that are flourescent and easily visible.

And I would swap them in a heartbeat for a Westie or a Boston Terrier!

Residents in 72 counties were asked whether free-roaming cats _ including any domestic cat that isn't under the owner's direct control or any cat without a collar _ should be listed as an unprotected species. If listed as so, the cats could be hunted.

The proposal was one of several dozen included in a spring vote on hunting and fishing issues held by the Wisconsin Conservation Congress. The results, only advisory, get forwarded to the state Natural Resources Board.

Statewide results were expected Tuesday.

La Crosse firefighter Mark Smith, 48, helped spearhead the cat-hunting proposal. He wants Wisconsin to declare free-roaming wild cats an unprotected species, just like skunks or gophers. Anyone with a small-game license could shoot the cats at will.

At least two other upper Midwestern states, South Dakota and Minnesota, allow wild cats to be shot _ and have for decades. Minnesota defines a wild, or feral, cat as one with no collar that does not show friendly behavior, said Kevin Kyle with that state's Department of Natural Resources.

Every year in Wisconsin alone, an estimated 2 million wild cats kill 47 million to 139 million songbirds, according to state officials. Despite the astounding numbers, Smith's plan has been met with fierce opposition from cat lovers.

Critics of Smith's idea organized Wisconsin Cat-Action Team and developed a Web site _ dontshootthecat.com. Some argue it is better to trap wild cats, spay or neuter them, before releasing them.

In Madison, about 1,200 people attended the Monday evening meeting at the Alliant Center _ more than the 250 or so in a typical year, but less than the 3,000 or so who took part in a debate in 2000 over whether to allow hunters to shoot mourning doves.

One of the attendees was Katy Francis, who wore cat ears, whiskers, a cat nose and a sign that read, "Too Cute to Kill." For Francis, "The cat hunting thing brought me out because it was very extreme."
I really like cats! I don't know what to think about this! I guess I am in trouble being a Mountainlion out here in North Dakota huh? LOL! I hide very well! Good Post!

I'm such a minority.... I'm female.... and I'm OK with the idea. No one is telling anyone that they are going to go shoot sweet, pretty house cats and no one wants to go shooting the little girl's cat down the street. What baffles me is that ppl get cats and they think it's ok to let 'em roam wherever and get into other ppl's yards and do whatever to it.... yet if someone had a dog and this was happening.... would be a completely different story. All pets should have the same rules in respect to their fellow neighbor's. Of course, cats are running amok everywhere.... you don't see this with dogs really. And I can sympathize with Grandpa and his restaurant probs.... I worked at a restaurant b4 and I'd go out to the dumpster to take out the trash.... every time at least 5-6 cats come running out from the enclosed area the dumpster was in. When we let any animal..... cats, rats, deer, ect.... get out of hand.... we have problems.... not just problems with someone's yard. I have never shot a gun (I'd like to someday) but I support hunting. Too many liberals are against it.... for some reason they want animals to thrive in numbers so that they'll just all starve in the winters or out grow their natural habitat so that they come into the cities where they'll be injured or cause injuries to ppl.... I'd much prefer seeing a family fed well for the winter than letting the animals starve.... besides venison and other game is damn tasty. OK so those are "game" animals.... so.... cats aren't considered "game" animals..... well they probably were at one time b4 they were "domesticated"..... besides there are countries that actually kill and cook cats.... never tried it but wonder if they taste like chicken. 'Course no one is telling anyone don't kill rats or snakes or frogs or birds or spiders or whatever 'cause so and so has a pet that they love.... that person thinks highly of their pet.... they think it's cute.... but they aren't going to call someone names because hey I have a pet spider and I think they are great they keep the insect level down but you killed a spider so I'm going to go calling you names because they are cute and wonderful creatures and how dare you kill just one?!? Of course, it doesn't matter if you kill any of these animals to control their population now does it?!? Yadda, yadda.... see a point? Of course, those with cats won't. I had cats briefly growing up.... I enjoyed them as pets... but I also didn't like the neighbor's cat crapping in my sandbox.

OK so now that I've made my viewpoint on the actual debate topic.... have a bone to pick and I better do it b4 I get too damn tired.... unfortunately, I should be sleeping and I couldn't so this is what I'm doing.... anyway... yeah....

The whole penis joke thing.... which also is much more than just a penis issue.... it's the whole thing of letting a man be a man.... and women not allowing them to be men by cutting them down. We all laugh at some of the gender jokes..... we all think some of them are amusing.... simply because we've been there, done that. But when it starts becoming extreme and starts hurting someone's emotions it has to stop. Unfortunately, the female population out there seems to think that men are simply egotistic and that men don't have any kind of feelings. Oh how stupid is that?!? Seriously, we as women want a loving, compassionate man yet we knock 'em down for having any kind of emotion because that's pansy-assed..... we want men to be men and be the strong ones and want them to share their feelings and have compassion if we simply knock 'em down for any sort of emotion they share esp. something that has to do with their self-esteem when we are spose to be making them feel like strong, competent men.... so sad.... so many men feel neglected and unwanted because they don't feel like their feelings matter a bit.... they are spose to be the "warriors" and not let things bother them. Men on average have very low self-esteem.... but of course, they cannot let anyone know that.... esp. women.... women want the strong, self-assured type.... but ya know what women.... chances are ya ain't going to get one of those.... they may appear it.... but underneath they feel neglected and abused because they can't share any emotions without feeling that they are going to be ignored and cast aside because of it. If more women were willing to listen and understand men.... we'd have a helluva lot better relationships out there. People just don't seem to want to take the time to understand one another.... simply they just feel hurt and want to run away and feel sorry for themselves..... instead try to figure out why that person did what they did.... accept it and forgive it..... because there is more than one party member and if someone is hurting chances are they aren't going to care if the other person is hurting.... gets a nice circular cylce going.... round and round. So many women think men are "pigs".... well what do you expect when you expect them to be manly but at the same time want them to share their feelings yet tread all over those feelings and the man just feels like he don't matter so why should it matter how the hell he acts! Hello women... wake the hell up and start being the support factor that holds men together. That's the way God created us. Men need women.... not just for sexual pleasure and someone to cook and clean..... but to make them feel like they matter in this world.... just like you women want to feel like you matter. As far as penis size goes.... a word to the wisee... it's not the size.... I've had some of each.... let me tell you for a fact women.... if you want the greatest sexual experiences in your life... it matters not the size..... it matters how you treat the man b4 you get into bed.... he'll make you feel like a queen with orgasmic wonder that you never thought you could ever experience.... IF.... you make him feel like he can do anything. Men are performance driven. Unfortunately, they think they need to top or at least be as good every time.... and that shouldn't be true... it should not matter (tho they think it will).... because what matters is who you have in your bed with you.... not how good it was.... but how much love there is.... if man or woman has too much burdened on their minds.... there will not be any spark.... make sure you know what's going on up above in each other's heads b4 you get under the sheets.... and no matter what women.... make that man feel like a king and you'll receive tenfold. Been there, done that.... want it again..... and it wasn't with the "monster-sized man" that I had that made me "O" over and over and over and over....ect....ect.... just the "average man". Too many marriages fail simply because.... their isn't enough passion in the bedroom.... but their has to be respect and honour b4 you hit the sheets. Calling your man/woman lazy or whatever even out of a joke... will not get you any good lovin' in bed later. And now we fall back to the penis joke.... do you see why women that we don't need to be making a joke regardless of what the man on the receiving end's size is? How can that single man or married man ever feel like he's going to feel like a man when he can't preform because we women think that size matters? Well if you are one of those women.... let me tell you.... I have had so many orgasms in one night that my stomach muscles felt like I had did 1000 sit-ups..... have you? Size does not matter. This is not I'm better ha-ha crap.... this is simply telling you how it is.... if you want something you better be giving b4 you think you're going to be receiving anything. Keep your man's feelings in the upfront first not yours..... keep your mind open to everything..... and you'll be rewarded tenfold. Men aren't spose to be the emotional ones simply because culture told them so... what a load of crap.

OK I'm done ranting and rambling.... going to go sleep for another 1/2 hr now b4 I have to go to work.... probably won't be posting again until next week.... take care all....
Great replies on all the subjects! My hat is off to you my dear! I enjoyed reading your reply! Good job! Keep up the good work I am impressed! Have a super day! Hugs to you!
