LadyDeM .... I know that most people are their own worst critics, but you should never run yourself down like that .... your posts - especially the lengthy ones - are always full of interest (even if I don't always agree with some of your opinions or statements) .... and I wish now that I had some of your insight when I was your age (good grief, I feel ancient, because I was 1 day under 19 years old when you were born !!).

So I do not think that kudos is due to anyone who reads through them, rather sympathy is due to anyone who can't be bothered to read - and think about - them.

I was brought up in a family where my parents attempted (very successfully) to avoid showing any emotion or feelings - good or bad - both within and outside the house walls. Hence I - still today - am very uncomfortable showing my emotions to anyone that I don't know really well (and I can almost count these people on the fingers of one hand) - this even extends to greeting people with hugs or kisses ....

.... ummmm .... ooopppss .... I had one interruption too many at work whilst I was trying to type up this response to you, so Rambling Rodney has now lost the plot completely. I will come back to edit this post - and maybe even manage to get it back onto track - when I get home and have some peace and quiet.

ladydemontego....I am really glad you get along so well with men....You must also be a single woman. I lmbo off with your first long winded statement. I don't even know these other ppl. I hope I don't sound like a TROLL getting this off my chest.
But Lady you have got some nerve. Oh sure a man has to listen to bitchin' from his woman. Maybe if he would be home sharing his emotions with her rather than other WOMEN she wouldn't have to bitch.
Just because you want to praise them and create cyber men ego. It don't mean the rest of the women on here feel the need. God didn't put you in charge of life either.
As for the joke that was CRACKED...How would that girl had known the guy had a complex problem. I mean really why bother coming to a JOKE SITE.
However, It's not the SIZE that counts it's how it's use. In which that would be HIS PERSONAL PROBLEM. Let him cry on your shoulder cause I am too busy laughing. AND REALLY.....As women, we can handle the big ass remarks or the little boobs but PLEASE GIRLS LAY OFF THE MEN. WE ARE STRONGER THAN THEY ARE AND WE NEED TO BABY THEM AND LISTEN TO THEIR SOB STORIES. Do you even realize how funny that sounds? A man going to THE GIVE LOVE THREAD and brought me right in here to find out why he got his feeling hurt. I tried to stay focus on the point of the thread.
However, They are TROLLS that obviouly don't know they are TROLLS.
And Lady when you go telling me how to deal with a man. I think you should find one and keep him and do it your way. My way have worked for 20 years and The home fire is still burning. So if you are single maybe you should change your way of thinking.
I have no doubt Spanky can handle himself and I am sure he will.
As for red pts.
Whatever will be...don't matter to me....

Such a sad, sad world we live in.... men are spose to just "grin and bear it"?!? I don't think so!!!! I want any man that I have to tell me what's going on in his head. Hiding the emotions in a relationship is only going to suffer the relationship. Trust me... I've seen enough in my short lifetime to vouche for this one!!!!

Most men suffer thru the bitchin'.... and than what's left.... despiteful feelings for the woman. You wanna take that crap to the bed with you??!? Oh hell no!! I wouldn't want to go to bed with a man that feels that I have somehow hurt his feelings.... and yes men can feel too!! Geez, men are taught this crap that they can't have emotions and they are just spose to suffer thru it.... whatever!! You can't openly and honestly communicate with someone..... that relationship is lost. There ain't nutin' left. This is why so many marriages fail. If I somehow hurt my man's feelings I want to know... I don't want to repeat it! And that's how I wish to be treated.... I want to be able to tell him this is how I feel when you do this and make him realize that I'm not nagging....I'm trying to improve the relationship... because if the things that are bothering me keep continuing we're just going to keep continuing to have problems!

In the days of the Bible.... MEN openly displayed their feelings.... if someone in their family dies or is on their deathbed.... they walked thru the streets moaning and wailing and crying!! Many of the countries in this world still will uphold the man's right to do this.... unfortunately here in the good USA men simply can't show emotion. Why the hell not!? Does this somehow make them weak?!?!? I don't think so!!! I really don't!!! It's a strength to me!!! It means that a man wants to work thru his feelings and not want to just simply hide 'em where they will eat at him day after day after day..... no a man should want to build his strength by confronting the issues at hand.

Any woman that agrees with you that a man should just put up with the bitching for whatever reason including some hormonal fluctuation..... is just wrong. I can guarantee there is a lot lacking in anyone's relationship that believes the way you do. It's a shame.... I absolutely hate the way that men believe that they can't speak about their emotions and thoughts simply because that's the way we raise 'em... that it's somehow wrong to want to do that. Rational gender.... my ass.

Sorry you have to put up with another sleepless night.... so much for my freakin' break.... well I can guarantee you'll be "Lady-free" this weekend... come on and dish out the red.....

Four cats found shot to death

The carcasses of four cats, all apparently shot with a 22-caliber gun, were discovered Monday on Greendale Road in the Town of Sheboygan.

According to Capt. David Adams of the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department, the cats were shot at different times, as one of the remains was skeletal.

The most recent one, he said, was a pet belonging to Kirk and Elizabeth Obear, of 811 N. 40th St. The Obears said their cat was last seen on the evening of March 27.

A neighbor, who was aware the cat was missing, discovered that cat and the remains of three others while walking her dog Monday on Greendale Road. She notified the sheriff’s department.

“It was the kind of cat that gets out once in a while, but usually comes right back,” Kirk Obear said of the pet, which the family had owned for six years. “We didn’t let him out to go wherever he wanted to.”

Obear, an attorney in Elkhart Lake, said many people in the neighborhood have cats that go outside at various times.

He said he found it interesting that the dead cats were discovered on the same day that a proposal that would eventually allow hunting and trapping of free-roaming feral cats was being debated at county Conservation Congress meetings across the state.

The citizen advisory group to the Department of Natural Resources approved the proposal in the statewide vote.

“It seems someone is taking it into their own hands to shoot cats,” Obear said.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the sheriff’s department at 459-3111.

Firearms may be used in the Town of Sheboygan only by the owner of a parcel of 15 acres or more or by someone who is hunting with permission on the property.

it's funny.....I don't remember voting you in as GOD.....saying who should go and who should stay.....

Dude....I don't know you....and from what I've seen in here, I have no real interest in getting to know you better.....but I will say this; We Men are supposed to be the rational gender....we aren't supposed to be the ones who get all hurt and emotional over words.....

I remember my sister had a joke one time.....I think it was called "The REAL Rules"......it was a spoof on what I believe was a list of rules from like....the 1950's or something, basically stating where a woman's "place" was....
At any rate, it said something to the effect of "Any man should be able to put up with a woman's bickering, nagging, whining, complaining....and still be ready to go to bed with her on a moment's notice, or he's simply NOT A REAL MAN!".....

Now obviously, it was meant as a joke.....but at the same time, there is some truth to it. Sometimes, we men have to just roll with the punches, especially if it is a woman doing the punching. What you deem her obvious hatred of men, I took as a light-hearted jab at our gender. It wasn't meant to make anybody cry.....it was meant to make us have a chuckle at ourselves.

Most of us MEN can do that....

Actually, it is a Swedish word. It means:
"The place where the Ojibwa kicked our asses!"
