Well, of course I can spell SHEBOYGAN with a straight face...like I said before, it's where I grew up...it's not like I can help it or anything... To be perfectly honest, I've never seen a rat, aside from the ones in pet stores (and some of the men I've dated), though, I'm certain they do exist in SHEBOYGAN...along with the infestation of cockroaches in previously noted neighborhood...

I agree with most of what you're saying Patrish but some blonde jokes are pretty offensive... not all blondes take them as they come; some even offend me! I'm certainly not going to tell Grandmother OR Grandfather 'the one about...", I think 'scruples' is what we're looking at.

Not all women take jokes about breast size, 'smell' is another good one, etc the same way... I personally don't worry about most of them, but I don't expect all women to be like me either! Some are more sensitive, some less.. we're ALL different & I think it's our responsibility to be aware of other people's feelings, it's certainly what's taught in schools to stop 'bullying'.

We all go through times when anything can upset us... did anyone ask about Jake's & Linda's feelings or what life's throwing at them in their personal lives right now??

You expressed what life was handing out to you Linda, in two PMs to me, your feelings mattered to me as well.. I told you I didn't mean to offend you, regardless of whether I thought it should offend you because that's not the point. I care that you were hurt.. but I also care that Jake was. 'Friends' are not just people who agree with you... I'm not your enemy, but if you don't like me for expressing my opinion, that's up to you. If you think I'm being unfair and you express it, I'll apologise for offending you.

Ok.............I started to do this in a PM, but I want everyone to see that I am trying my best to put a stop to this. I know that everyone is tired of hearing about it. I know I AM.......So..............let's take this stuff to PM's if you must beat a dead horse, lets beat it in private, becaue it's not a pretty sight. ...............and please.............horse lovers...........that is a JOKE. and if I hurt your feelings .........go see a doctor and get some Prozac or something. Valium anything, just don't start in on me about horses. LOL

Now................if I had directed that remark at Jake personally, I would certainly apologize to him. But it wasn't directed at anyone in particular. At that time, there were..............probably 6 men..........give or take............and the majority of them were making the usual cat hater remarks and talking about shooting cats and joking about open season on cats..............and I have heard several different jokes about men and guns and penis size and I just made the joke in general..............not mentioning anyone in particular, it was just a freakin' JOKE. just like a dumb blonde joke. And any woman who gets offended by blonde jokes has the same kind of problem that men have when someone makes a joke about penis size. Jungleboy laughed it off and let me know that he did have something big other than a gun to play with and it was funny. It was funny people.

Then here comes Jake..........all bent out of shape and with his little 200 or so posts accuses me of being a troll. I have been the victim of trolls since I signed on to this thing. and it set my blood to boiling. How dare he call me a troll. And I privately let him know what I felt about his accusation. And he took it , not like a man, but he took it to another thread and proceeded to stir up the natives...........and suddenly it's the bash Linda forum......all over the place. Everytime I log on .........there it is for days and days and days.................it's childish and silly. give it up. I'm not apologizing for making a joke. If his feelings got hurt. I can't help that. I didn't direct the joke at him so I have no reason to feel bad about saying it. No more than he feels bad about calling me a troll.

Sorry, but that's the way I feel. Now..........lets' leave this out of Patrish's forum. Let s keep it in PM's if it is necessary at all to keep it. I see no reason to keep it at all. Four days is overkill. If he has issues that deep, then an apology from me, for something I didn't even direct at him, is not going to do him much good. He needs to seek professional help.

As I suggested to someone in a PM earlier, if you must keep it going out here so you can feel important ............start a new thread and take it out of everyone elses. They are tired of it . And so am I . start a I hate purpleroscoedog thread. or shut up.......one or the other.
