I know I posted stuff about this here before, just thought I would let you know the latest on the trouble I have with my neighbors dogs, local pests I call em!
I have had some trouble with my neighbors wolf hybrids again today. They came in my yard and attacked the dog I have been foster momming for! They use to attack our other dog alot, and we tried to be real nice about it, even told the ACO to just talk to em at first. Finally we gave into having them cited. A few weeks ago, the court gave me permission to shoot the dogs if they were even so much as in my yard. Well I couldnt do it! Not even to save the other dog. Now during the fight of their 2 dogs in my yard against this one puppy who was chained to a dog house, the neighbors son got bit. I dont know by which dog, but he says it was the one I was fostering. But the dogs injuries were so severe, there was nothing anyone could do. But now these neighbors are saying they plan to sue me. The animal control officer told me not to worry, but I am still worried about the kid, and of course they wont tell me if the kid is ok or not.
I do gotta go to the court house tomorrow, I think I am gonna be the one filing suit, I am sure the bill wont be cheap even tho they couldnt do anything! Anyway, so now you know where my head is at.

I still think any animal that is a nuicance shouldnt be allowed to run loose.

Rainy I am so sorry this happen...I wish you a lot of luck. Since the neighbor boy was in your yard to stop his dogs from jumping your dog on a leash. All you need is the past reports.
I had a problem with my neighbor's bull dog chasing a friend on top of her car. I wouldn't give up...I haven't saw the dog in 2 weeks. I think she found out she could be charged up to $400.00 for each time...I video tape her letting the dog run lose.
I would do what ever it took > to save
my grandchildren from shedding blood
from a vicious animal.

Yea, it has always been in the back of my mind that I have to worry about my kids, but now it is almost like an abnormal fear. They wanted to go outside after all this, to just walk to the park, next door, I just about came unglued. I am checking into fencing. Of course this all depends on if the ACO takes the dogs or not. He couldnt do anything this afternoon because they had taken the boy to the hospital. I do hope the boy is alright, because it is the adults fault, not the KIDS!

not really trying to be funny...don't send a boy to do a man's job...no child should be made to stop a dog fight...yet...it's his word to which dog bit him and it could have been his own dog...and not yours...I hope he will be all right too...I believe if they don't take the dogs you may need to practice on shooting them. Oh I can imagine how you felt. I really hope things will work out for you.
