Hotel Sudan...the Terror Has Not Stopped..please

Its happening right now in the Sudan, The people of the Sudan Darfur region are being slaughtered by their own government who wants their land and by a militia called janjaweed, who are Muslims who are hell bent on ethenic elimination of all of the people of the Darfur region, who are mostly CHRISTIAN. The janjaweed recently captured 9 boys, their ears and noses were cut off and their eyes gouged out then shot and hung in a tree as a message to get out. Another young boy was hung in a tree and was castrated and left to die.
The last I knew the U.S. had one marine captain on the ground with a small group of marines for guarding the supplies and to over see food shipments which we try and send by air drops. These people are so hungry they have stripped all of the trees in some areas of leaves and bark. PEOPLE, THEY ARE EATING BARK. God help them, no one else seems to care.

The UN said they are going to sanction the Sudanese govt. ..Boy, I bet they are really frightened.
Over 300,000 Christian people are dead or missing from their land now with no hope in sight. The African nations have sent in 50 troops and are protecting 5000 people as I write this.

Please take the time to write and e-mail to your Senator or Representative in Washington and tell them not to forget these people. These are Christian people, but no matter who they are, no one should have to go through this. I beg of you. E-mail them today and PRAY FOR THEM. They will need it.

In Christ, Pray for these people.

Crusades again.

How can ppl treat others this way??

Yes, all the above is true. And not many people know or care. Where are the self-rightous ones that make war to defend the weak. Or is it only the selected (oil rich) weak?

And to our Islamic friends in the Roo, help us understand how this is more a matter of human on human and not about religion.

I know in my heart and personally as friends, that there are good republicans and muslims! So forgive me if at times I seem to be biased and support opposite view.

I am getting too emotional. I will be back when I am calm.

where is the love???

In threads b4 I always pointed out that osama bin laden had his al quaida
training camp in the sudan
and his hiding place,
and what still goes on..-we talked about this til our heads were smokin..-
-wellI tried to bring that across...
maybe you overlooked it...I cant tell you excactly the thread anymore,as its a while back, b4 and after bush wun..

(and I hope you are ok now hun...-need to vent aswell-hugz)

The sudan was never a big issue or much of an interest of bush...and dont think it is now...?
-could it be ...coz its a poor country... without any energy resources..??????

Bush has some people in there, who are hidden {Marines I believe}. They will not disclose their location....because the troops would be overtaken. And they are bringing meals to these ppl...but we need to do more as a nation, and as a world.
And Africans have come in too.
I think 5,000 African troops are protecting 500 of the ppl there.

There is fighting...and its so sad.
I say
we should pray for the enemies. For their hearts to soften.

AND we have seen them turning themsleves in....pray they keep choosing not to do these vile acts.

BTW Brian, there are over 40,000 members in here, why do you think one person has a clan?
Many ppl who dont often post may very well choose to disagree. I dont know the scenerio, but one person is probably not the single one who has that many ppl who would agree with them.

Think about, do your friends agree with you all the time?

You are so correct Anna ! Sudan has al-quada, it has evil leaders, it has starving people, it interfers with it neighbors, all the elements needed for the US to go and intervane. But no oil and nothing else the US wants to take. So, I guess the people being killed by their own leader.... well, leave them to the UN and the AU.

The AU is there. SA has a few thousand troops there also. Yes Pat, the US has a some advisors also.

BrainKandy... the muslims do seem to have a PR problem. Even the less extreme ones are quite and not denoucing the the violence.

Praying is very much needed. Prayer from all religions. GOD HELP US BE MORE LOVING!

I know there is war, and every country has it reasons. I just hate to be tricked/fooled when the truth is right in front of me. I never liked saddam either. Which is enough reason for me to kick his butt out. No need to spread rumors about being so loving and caring about the poor of the world.
