but it should be her choice, she shouldn't be forced, which is what the Taliban wants to do, force women into submitting to men, not to God, at least that's the way I see it lol

Forcing women or any grown up to do something is BAD.
As regards Talibans what I understand from their harsh 'conduct' towards women (and towards men too, to some extent) is that they do so to prevent licentiousness and premarital sexual interaction or inter-relationship between the sexes. However, I agree that man is the head of the family in a Muslim home...he's duty bound to feed and provide total security and safety to his family. Muslim women have NO liability to earn for their husbands or families unless they wanted to voluntarily due to excruciating circumstance or if she is qualified enough in a discipline and wants to make use of her knowledge or time. You see the culture of an Islamic Welfare state is entirely familial and unsecular.....but Afghan or Talib culture is not true representation of Islamic laws as they happen to be. The Talibs touch the extremes of their religious interpretations which is not good....moreover they belong to not more than same and one ethnicity which is a crucial point to consider when discussing about Talibs!!

I fully agree that the man is the head of the household, and that women should ... defer to her husband, but also wise is the man that listens to his wife's counsel and holds her in the highest esteem, and they should both do so of their own free will ... not because someone said to ... I understand that the Taliban takes Islam to extreme and I feel blessed to have met you and LMP ... the only two Islamic people I know

Unfortunately, culture still seems to overwhelm religion in many ways and that causes problem!
