Thank you so much,Rainy I haven't had those problems with mine just yet. When I do normally lose the paintbox by mistake I goto VIEW..PALETTES..MATERIALS that brings it back for me,but there's the Auto hide palette which could be clicked by mistake and the PSP has so many tools and different styles I don't think we ever stop learning more about it |

This tutorial is how to make glitter names First of all you'll need some glitter. ***Glitter**Backgrounds*** Choose the glitter that you want to use then save it on your hard drive. Now open up animation shop 3 and open the glitter. 1.The animation glitter will now be open in seperate frames. Right click on each frame and goto save frame as... save the frames where you can easily get them when you want them and make sure the savename keeps them as a set so the frame sets are easy to spot. Or just copy each from and paste as new image into PSP and minimize them in order. 2.Now goto the PSP 9 and open up every frame in the glitter set...mine has 3. 3.Now open up a new document, make the size 500lenth x 200 height, and tick the transparent box. ![]() 4.Now click on the FLOOD FILL TOOL then the SWATCHES (that changes the paint box to texture.) 5.Now click in the FOREGROUND and STROKE PROPERTIES box, then in the properties box select PATTERN,then click on the down arrow on the pattern preview and you'll be able to find the first frame from your saved glitter, then click OK. ![]() 6.Now on the paint toolbox click the SWAP MATERIALS curl arrow. This swaps the foreground and background colours. ![]() 7.Now click on the TEXT TOOL,choose the Font and Size you want. In the top left hand corner where it says CREATE AS.. Make sure you use the down arrow to select..FLOATING. You need it nice and large. I'm using Old English text font and size 48. Then type your glitter name onto the transparent paper. Move the name so that it's on the transparent paper properly Then goto IMAGE..CROP TO SELECTION ![]() 8.Now goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE VISIBLE Now goto EDIT..COPY Then Open the ANIMATION SHOP 3 Now goto EDIT..PASTE..AS NEW ANIMATION 9.Now back to PSP 9 Click in the BACKGROUND and FILL PROPERTIES box, Use the down arrow to find the second glitter frame then Click OK. Now click UNDO and keep clicking undo till you're left with the transparent paper again. Then select the TEXT TOOL,the settings should all still be the same so type your glitter name, then goto IMAGE..CROP TO SELECTION. 10.Now goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE VISIBLE Now Goto EDIT ..COPY Then open the ANIMATION SHOP 3 Then goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME. 11.Now back to the PSP 9 Undo till you get the transparent paper. Then click in the BACKGROUND and FILL PROPERTIES box. Use the down arrow to select the third glitter frame then click OK, Select the TEXT TOOL,type your glitter name then EDIT..CROP TO SELECTION 12.Now goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE VISIBLE Now goto EDIT..COPY Then open the ANIMATION SHOP 3 Goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME. If you have more than 3 glitter frames then carry on till all frames are used. I only had 3 frames on mine,so mines done. 13.Once all the glitter frames are used click on VIEW ANIMATION and you can see your new glitter sig at work. If you like the timing then fine..otherwise stop the animation, goto edit..select all. Then right click on any frame goto frame properties and change the timer. If you've done select all this will change the timers on all frames instead of doing it one by one. Once you're happy with the result SAVE as gif. This is my finished glitter sig.
