then you should go click one of the color boxes on the right side ![]() that should open up the properties This box~ ![]() Then you should click patterns at the top of this box. Then find the glitter you saved, I usually name em 1,2,3 so I can easily figure out which frame I am on. Click on the first frame, then click ok. That should put the glitter swatch in those frames on the right like you need. Let me know if that helped any, if not I will see what I can figure out till Essex comes on again. |

No problem Maggie When you click on swatches it changes the paint choices just underneath swatches to texture. The paint box should look the way it does in my screensave. Then when you click into Foreground and Stroke Properties the Material Properties box should popup. Then click on the PATTERN tag, click on the DOWN ARROW then you should be able to find your glitter in there. I hope this helps |

This tutorial is making your own animated signature.
First you need to save this picture in your my pictures, this will be your quill ![]() (IF YOU NEED TO TURN THE PICTURE OF WHAT YOUR USING FOR A QUILL~I opened up the transparent rose in ANIMATION SHOP 3. Then went to EDIT..COPY Then opened up the PSP 9. Went to EDIT..PASTE AS NEW IMAGE Then click onto the RASTER DEFORM TOOL You'll find it under the hand. ![]() You can now use the tool, where the mouse turns into two curved arrows to move the picture around. Then goto EDIT..COPY. Then go back to ANIMATION SHOP 3. After the first image you can now goto EDIT..PASTE..AS NEW ANIMATION The image has now been turned and you can turn the pic anyway like that and save each pic as you need it) 1.Now you need to open your ANIMATION SHOP, Then click on the OPEN ANIMATION folder,it's just under animation,it's the yellow folder. Find the rose that you just saved and open it,then minimise it. 2.Now goto FILE..NEW Make the size 400 lenth and 300 height and click the TRANSPARENT circle. ![]() 3.Now choose the colour for your text by clicking the DROPPER,them moving to the PAINT PALETTE and choosing the colour for your text. If you can't see the DROPPER goto VIEW..TOOL PALETTE then you'll have it ![]() 4.Now click on the text tool..that's the letter A, just to the right of the DROPPER Then click in your transparent paper 5.You'll now have the ADD TEXT box, choose the FONT,STYLE and SIZE. Best not to have a joined up or complicated text. Then type your text into the ENTER TEXT HERE,then click OK. ![]() Now place your text onto the middle of the transparent paper, then left click. 6.Now you need to count the letters,I have 8 in Essex Boy. You need to times the number by 3. Mines 24 so I need 24 frames for my animation. Then you need to keep clicking on DUPLICATE till the number at the bottom center makes enough frames for your animation. It wont get exact but any left over can be deleted later. I have to use 33 frames as under the number is no good so I have to go over the number. ![]() 7.Now maximise the name animation then click the left arrow on your keyboard till FRAME 1 is selected, you can tell which frame is selected by the blue and red border. Leave frame 1 the way it is and press the right arrow on your keyboard to select frame 2 8.Now select the ERASER,it's two places to the right of the DROPPER. Now rub out all the text in frame 2,leaving just a small piece where the first letter starts. Then press the right arrow on the keyboard to select frame 3,this time do the same but leave more of the first letter.you should try to make it around 3 frames per letter. On the 4th frame all the first letter should be showing. If the pen would have to be lifted from the paper to make part of a letter try to make that show in the frames. ![]() 9.In frame 5 show all of the first letter and just the start of the second letter, the same frame 6 but leaving more of the second letter,Frame 7 all of the first and second letters, and so on till you eventually have all of the name finished. ![]() My name is now full completed on frame 25. ![]() 10.Now any left over frames can be deleted. So I'll use the right arrow on my keyboard to select frame 26 Then click on the red x to delete the frame, then keep going right and deleting frame 26 till I am left with my 25 frames. Whatever frame your animation was completed at is the number of frames you should have left.

[b]PART 2
11.Now use the left arrow on your keyboard to go back to frame 2 Now click on the ZOOM TOOL,then click on frame 2. You can now go along all the frames using the ERASER to delete any odd specks of letter that shouldnt be there. Then click on the arrow on the left of the ZOOM TOOL to deselect the ZOOM. ![]() 12.Now we will add the rose that you saved at the start. Minimise the name animation then Maximise the rose. Now right click on the rose, then goto COPY. 13.Now minimise the Rose, and maximise the Name Animation. If it's still in Zoom goto VIEW..NORMAL VIEWING Now use the left arrow on your keyboard to go back and select frame 1. 14.Now goto EDIT..PASTE..INTO SELECTED FRAME Then use the LEFT CLICK to paste the rose into a space at the end of the name. Then select Frame 2 and got edit..paste..into selected frame place the rose at the start of the first letter. ![]() 15.Now select frame 3 and place the rose at the end of the letter so far. Then select frame 4 and place the rose at the end of the letter. Keep doing that, the rose at the start at the start of the letters and the ending in the second and third frame of the letter till every frame has a rose. ![]() 16.Now goto EDIT..SELECT ALL Then Right click on a frame goto FRAME PROPERTIES,then make the TIMER 15. 17.Now use the right arrow on your keyboard to select FRAME 1. Right click on FRAME 1,goto FRAME PROPERTIES and make frame 1 timer 300,the rest should still be 15. 18.If you now click on VIEW ANIMATION you can see how your animation looks. Then click VIEW ANIMATION again to stop the animation. 19.If you're happy with the animation goto FILE..OPTIMIZATION WIZARD Select Animated Gif File and Replace with optimized version then click NEXT Make sure the slider bar is up to the top then click CUSTOMIZE Make these settings. ![]() Then click OPTIMIZATIONS And set these settings. ![]() Now click PARTIAL TRANSPARENCY and make these settings. ![]() The next parts just click NEXT till the end when you click FINISH Then goto FILE..SAVE AS and save it as a gif.

That's OK you're getting further than you was before.
Sounds like you've got the first animation frame in place. When it comes to clicking the undo you need to keep clicking undo till you're left with the paper the way it was at the start. Then the next floating text can go on as the paper is empty. Hope this helps. The paper should be back to looking like this __________________Thanks Laila oh i see now i didnt go back far enough thanks for that i,ll let you know how it goes hugs
