Basic PSP9 Tutorials - Page 24

You'll need the Almathera Puddles Plug.
Heres the link to get it

The puddle plug in will make the water ripple animation.

1.You need to open up your water picture,don't use anything to complicated.
This is the picture I'm going to use,you can use it too if you wish.

2.Now choose the magic wand,make the feather 2 and the tolerance 18,untick the anti alias.
Or if you find it easier to select the water by hand then select the freehand selection.
Use whichever tool you decided to use to select all of the water.

3.Now goto EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ALMATHERA..A PUDDLE
You'll then be given this property box.
This is the settings you have to make your numbers.then click OK~
reflection - 181
displacement - 20
lighting strenght - 45
perspective - 80
scale 29

4.Now goto SELECTIONS..SELECT NONE.
Then goto EDIT..COPY
Now open up your ANIMATION SHOP 3 and goto EDIT..PASTE..AS NEW ANIMATION.

5.Now back to the PSP 9.
Now click UNDO,then Click UNDO for a second time.

6.Now goto EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ALMATHERA..A PUDDLE
And make these the new settings.then click OK.

reflection 181
displacement 20
lighting strength 45
perspective 80 scale 35

Now goto SELECTIONS..SELECT NONE.

7.Now goto EDIT..COPY and back to the ANIMATION SHOP 3
Then goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

8.Now back to the PSP 9
Click UNDO twice,then goto EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ALMATHERA..A PUDDLE
Now make the same settings but make the scale 40 then click OK.

9.now goto SELECTIONS..SELECT NONE.
Then goto EDIT..COPY.

10.Now back to the ANIMATION SHOP3
Now goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME.

11.Now goto EDIT..SELECT ALL
Now right click on one of the frames,Goto FRAME PROPERTIES and set the timer for 30.
Now click the VIEW ANIMATION to see the result.
then click VIEW ANIMATION to stop the animation from running.
Then goto FILE..SAVE AS,and save the animation as a gif.

michael it took me ages to put this glitter on is it because i did not click on the flood fill tube everytime i only did it on the first one ,and it doesnt look right,

The first one I did had a few spots left in it that I didn't get. I'll have to see if I can edit it and erase those spots. I see you have a new one up for me to try. I can't wait to work on it. I've got to fix Chili first though for the crew.. LOL

I'll be back later with the new animation and hopefully my first animated sig fixed. I've already downloaded and extracted the plug ins. *smiles*

The controls are the same, cuz the link I gave, and the link you gave, give the exact same plug-ins.

LOL,They do the same thing but yours has different controls.
I haven't had much time to play around with it yet,
It'll be fun to see what the other plug ins in your set do too.
Mine has a lightning effect in one plug in which is pretty cool

Those spots seem to appear out of no-where,LOL.
Even with the zoomer it's easy to miss some small spots.
The second one was so perfect
I hope you have fun with the new animation

Yep that looks perfect.
It's worth all the long work when the result looks so good.
And it's great to be able to make them for family or friends
