Now that you have your water animation what we are going to do is add rain to the picture. First you need the Adrelaline snowflakes plugin. VanDerLee - Home / Plug-ins / Snowflakes / Download - Download the latest version of the Snowflakes Photoshop plug-in here. It is free, just click on one of the servers to download. Click RUN,then you have to agree to terms. You'll then be given a browser, double click on the yellow folder, then double click on your C Drive. Then Program files, then Jasc software Inc,then PSP 9,Then double click Plug Ins. Then click OK.Then Install.then when the downloads competed click YES. You'll probably have to restart your computer again before you can use the snowflake plug In. 1.Now open up your water animation in ANIMATION SHOP 3. Right Click on the first frame and goto COPY. Then open the PSP 9 and goto paste ..as new image. Now goto the Foreground and stroke propeties paint and make the colour grey 2.Now goto LAYERS..NEW RASTER LAYER,then click OK. Now goto EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ADRENALINE..SNOWFLAKES. Then make these the settings.Don't forget the snow setting is foreground Amount 250 size range begin 0 size range end 17 hardness 100 transparency 0 snow color - foreground random seed 400 ![]() Then click OK. 3.It'll now look like someones thrown mud over the screen lol, we still have to turn it into rain. To do that goto ADJUST..BLUR..MOTION BLUR. Then make these the two settings. angle 38 strength 76 ![]() Then goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE ALL. 4.Now goto EDIT..COPY Then back to the ANIMATION SHOP 3,and gotoEDIT..PASTE..AS NEW ANIMATION. Then select the second water frame and goto EDIT..COPY. 5.Now back to the PSP 3 and EDIT..PASTE..PASTE AS NEW IMAGE. Then LAYERS..NEW RASTER LAYER. Then goto EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ADRELALINE..SNOWFLAKES. The settings are the same as before except for one small thing. Change the RANDOM SEED to 401.leave the rest as they are. Then click OK. Now goto ADJUST..BLUR..MOTION BLUR The settings are fine as they are so just click OK Then goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE ALL FLATTEN. 6.Now goto EDIT..COPY Then back to the ANIMATION SHOP 3. Have the first rain frame selected then goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME. Thats two of the rain frames completed. Now select the third water animation frame and goto EDIT ..COPY. 7.Back to the PSP 9,and goto EDIT..PASTE..PASTE AS NEW IMAGE. Then LAYERS..NEW RASTER LAYER. Now EFFECTS..PLUG INS..ADENALINE..SNOWFLAKES. Now this time make the RANDOM SEED 402,still leave the rest as they are. Then ADJUST..BLUR..MOTION BLUR Leave the settings as they are and click OK. Now goto LAYERS..MERGE..MERGE ALL FLATTEN. 8.Now goto EDIT..COPY Back to the ANIMATION SHOP 3 and select the rain animation. Goto EDIT..PASTE..AFTER CURRENT FRAME I can now save my finished animation. Thats all of my animation done as my water pic had 3 frames. If yours has any more keep repeating the steps, You just need to put the RANDOM SEED up 1 with each frame. The timer should be already on 10,if you're not satisfied with the timer then goto EDIT..SELECT ALL. Then right click on a frame and change the timer as you wish. If you want to do a normal picture without the water effect then open the image that you wish to use in the PSP 9. Then click SHIFT and D on your keyboard twice, that will make 3 pictures that you can add the rain to and then animate. This is my finished picture

I played around with the settings to try to get it better. I had to turn the reflection off totally as it was taking the colours from all over the place. I still could't get it the way I wanted. This is the settings I ended up using.

I don't know how to use the settings on Vulcan's water ripple yet, I only just downloaded it,but here's another water one that I do know how to do. You'll need the Almathera Puddles Plug. CLICK HERE TO GET TO THE DOWNLOAD LINK It says for photoshop but it works in the PSP 9. Just click the download link where it says download here plugins.zip 789KB Next click OPEN,you'll then be given this. Click extract all files, then NEXT. Then Browse, then my computer, then your C Drive, then Program Files, then Jasc software Inc,then PSP9, Then Plug Ins,then click OK. Then extract the files then finish. The puddle plug in will make the water ripple animation. 1.You need to open up your water picture, don't use anything to complicated. This is the picture I'm going to use,you can use it too if you wish. michael when i download this link and open i dont get this and i just have trouble opening it i have a zip program ,but i dont get what is on this pic .any ideas

This is the first thing you should get. I just downloaded it again but it did take a while till it went to this part. Maybe you have to wait a little longer. Then click on extract all files, then NEXT,then BROWSE then MY COMPUTER,then your C DRIVE,then PROGRAM FILES, then JASC SOFTWARE INC,then Paint Shop Pro 9,then PLUG INS, then click OK.Then NEXT. When it extracts the PlugIns you'll get a tick box where you can click to see the viewed Plug Ins. If you tick thatyou should see the plug ins in the plug in section. I'll see if I can find another place to download the plug in just in case you have a problem. |
