I'll do screendumps,only reason I didn't before is beacause the animations have so many different number of frames.

1.First thing to do is open your first letter of your alpa in Animation Shop3.
Check how many frames the animation has,my alpha letter E has 4 frames.
That means I need to make 4 frames for my name.
Now check the size of the alphs by going to Animation..resize animation.
My letter E is 132 lenth x 146 height.
I have 5 letters in my name so to fit all of them in my name needs to be
size 660 lenth x 150 height.
The height stays roughly the same the lenth needs to be long enough to fit all your name letters in it.
Dont worry if it seems large,it can be resized afterwards.
If your name has more than I word you can always make the height high enogh to fit names one underneath each other.

2.I know the size needed now so I need to click on the white sheet in Animation Shop3,you'll find it underneath animation.
Make the size the size you need for your name,make sure the canvas colour has transparent selected then click OK.

3.Now we need to make the frames,my letter animation has 4 frames so I need to make this name canvas 4 frames also.
To do this goto edit copy..then keep going to edit..paste..after current frame till you have the right number of frames needed.

4.Now check the timer on the alpha's..to do this select a frame then goto Animation..frame properties and note the time..mines 30.

5.This means I have to also make the name canvas animation speed 30.
To do this goto the name canvas,goto edit..select all.
Now goto animation..frame properties.
Make the timer the speed you need then click OK.

6.Now back to the first letter,goto edit..select all.
then goto edit..copy.
Now go back to the name canvas,goto edit.. select all.
Then goto edit..paste..into selected frame.
place the first letter in place on the transparent name canvas then left click.




7.Now open up the second letter for your name.
Do number 6 again placing the second letter after the first.
Then carry on till you have the whole name.



8.Once the names finished if it's too wide for the page goto Animation..resize animation.
Now change the size then click OK.
This is my finished name.

Morning michael, I must have thaught the same as renee, when i did my first letter animation, i think i ended up with 200 and odd frames lol. so thats why i just did my initials. I will have another go now and see if it works this time.

Here is my new letter animation, but im not happy with it I looked at the frame timer and it said nine so i set them all to that, and its flashing like crazy. Im sure on the animation her eyes are supposed to blink.

Sorry about the flashing, it's not to good on the eyes, Her eyes dont blink, like i thaught. Oh well back to the drawing board lol. Thats what its all about i suppose, learning by our mistakes.

Good Luck, Arlene. I never set the timer for my animation. It turned out all right though. LOL

Hi angel, Ive had another go and set the timers to 30 and its much better!!!
