MAKING A HALLOWEEN PICTURE

1.Open up a BLACK image in PSP9.
Make the size 390x390.
Now goto image..add border.
Have symetric ticked and choose the border colour and make the size 5.

2.Now add a new raster layer,then add the main Halloween picture tube.
Then goto layers..merge..merge all..flatten.

3.Now add a new raster layer.
Now click in the foreground and stroke properties.
Choose gradient and angle 334 repeat 0.
Have the style as the first one..linear then click OK.

4.Now goto view..palettes..layers.
Find the gradient layer from the left hand side then make these the settings.

Then goto layers..merge..merge all..flatten.

5.Now goto edit..copy.
Then open up the Animation Shop and goto edit..paste..as new animation.

6.Goto effects..insert text effect.
Have the settings as START WITH..Animation frame.
Text appearence..click in custom colour.
Now click in the box that says custom colour.
Now you'll see the colours.
Click in the basic colour that you want your text to be then click in add custom then OK.

7.Now click on font and choose the words and all your font styles.then click OK.
Now have the effect as Marque and the show preview ticked.
Now Have the effect lenth as 2.8 and the frames per second as 3.
Now click in customize.
have center text vertically unticked.
Now choose the text top.
Mines 350,choose yours.
The lower the number the higher the text is on the picture.
Then click OK,then save the pic.
Here's my finished pic.

Scrabble?????? I didn't get that far yet and not even close to the name animation, my next lesson is the Inner Bevel.
Everyone is doing such great stuff and I feel like a dunce because I'm so far behind. But of course you all started this way before me so here's a homework assignment in which I combined several of the first lessons. With my luck I'll be doing the Halloween picture at Easter.

LOL,I'd feel the same with Photoshop.
I haven't even got to delete my out of date photoshop and downloading a new one yet.
