Michael, dont you have to make a new layer or selection for that to work ???

Ive been trying for the last hour to make the flames move, and nothing works, the animation just jumps all over the place and it wont show the black background, it just shows the black background on its own and the picture with the gray squares round it, and i cant get them together. Ive tried pasting into the frame after the frame. Im afraid im not good at doing these things unless i have the instructions in front of me to follow.
Which of the tuts you have done will tell me how to do it properly hun? cos its driving me nuts.

before you copy it from psp and then past in animation shop you have to layers merge all flatten and then copy into animation shop and then it will be all there hun

I have two pic's that I made up using PSP9, Animation3 and the Sqirt Water Motion program,,, they all came out perfect,,,,,,,much to my suprise,,,lol,,,I saved then to my pictures, as an AVI and also as a regular save as: neither one of them will download from the Uploader, or any other downloader I try to use???????? any one out there have an idea? They are really awesome and would like to show them,,, I can see them here on my computer but just can't get them to you

Hi Homie, I always save my pics as Gif or Jpeg that seems to work hun. Ive never had any trouble with the new roo uploader, apart from the one i did yesterday and it came up as a red x.

Yea they are saved as that also,,, I tried every way and no matter what they won't upload,,,,, I think maybe I have too many programs involved in teh making up of the pic's, but they are pretty cool,,,,you will have to take my word on it until I figure out a way to get them here,,,,lol

LOL,I went to our game yesterday,drew 1-1 to go top of the league.
Can't believe we got knocked out first round in the LDV trophy,
No Cardiff for us this year
The flames..I click back till it's clear then do it like that,
I'll do the tutorial for the flames the way I do it.

Sometimes when pics are changed to gif or jpg the uploaders or software still see's them as the original file type which is probably what's happening there.

This is the way that I use the eye candy 4000 to make the flames animation.
1.You need to select the place where you want the flames to be,either by the selection tool or by the magic wand.
I'm going to animate this swimming pool pic so I'll use the magic wand on all the area I want to select to have flames.
You need the Mode as ADD if you're using the magic wand,this allows you to select all the places for the flames.



2.Now goto effects..plugins..eye candy4000..fire.
If you want to go a bit further with the flames you can click on Color,untick natural spectrum,
then you have a lot of previews that you can check out,all different styles of flames.
But for the normal flame have Natural Spectrum in the color tab section ticked then click on the basic tab.

3.Now click on random seed then click OK.Then goto selections..select none.
Now goto edit copy,then open the animation shop and goto edit..paste..as new animation.

4.Now back to the PSP and click UNDO twice,undo is the curved arrow you see just under effects,if you cant find it goto edit..undo ,do that twice.

5.You should still have your flame area selected by the marching ants,
Now goto effects..plugins..eyecandy 4000..fire.
Click on Random Seed then click OK.
Now goto selections..select none,then edit..copy.
Back to the animation shop and goto edit..paste..after current frame.

6.Now repeat 4 and 5 to make the third frame.
Then save the animation,this is my finished picture

okay essexboy, i am trying again, i am gonna start from begining and try to make that globe, yes yes. lol, gonna be back for the challenge in about 30 mins.
