Morning, It's a cold one today so far. Kip im glad its all over now and you are on the mend hun. Look forward to seeing you here again. Maggie/celene have you heard how homie is?

Problem : I have downloaded some roses which are in a set I exported them to my picture tube, expecting them to seperate and get the one i wanted, but it just puts all the set on my pic. how do i get them to seperate so i can use the one i want? Ive had the same prob with corners and other sets.
I cant show you them cos its not the right type of file to upload

I'm posting this here too in case anyone has a problem with any plugins not working.


This is the two files that should help solve any problems with a plugin not working.
Because they're made for PhotoShop some need these two files to work in PSP.
CLICK HERE Then the part you need is this one.

The part that says..
*Download msvcrt10.dll here

*Download plugin.dll here

Do Not have PSP open when installing the filters or the dll files.

Extract the plugin.dll and the msvcrt.dll to

C:\WINNT\system and to C:\WINNT\system32 for windows 2000 or xp.

You will need both those downloaded to the sections it says

thanks essexboy, they seem to have gone to the c drive and in the programs folder so at least i now know where they are, lol.

once i get used to where all stuff is, and downloaded my pic tubes and glitter (again) lol, i can get learning and i think u may have many detentions for me, lmao, as iv not been able to do any homework

That's good,least you know what's gone wrong now.
The picture tubes I dont normally download direct into the picture tube section,it's best to open the tube in the PSP then goto file..export..picture tube,then name the tube then click OK,
The tubes go into the tube section in alphabetical order so should be easy to find.
The glitter swatches dont get downloaded anywhere,they just need to be saved somewhere easy to get to when you need them.
I made a new folder in my documents and named it glitter and saved the glitter swatches there.

Rich is home too now,I've been helping him in the unfinished pics section.

The Roses or any pictures like that on a whole sheet can be seperated using the selection tool on rectangle.
Just select around them one by one and goto edit..copy then edit..paste as new image.
You can then put the seperate rose into the picture tube section

thanks essexboy, ummm iv been opening and saving the pic tubes to the pic tube folders and they had been okay the last time, but now iv just noticed when i have opend and extratced them to the desired folder, they dont appear in the pic tube place in psp what can i do?? and how can i replace my sparkles??

Essex, the link you posted in the slats thread isn't working, got any more? I did find some others but they weren't showing up with the clear background, I fixed that so I could do the tut by replacing the color in animation shop but I was extremely frustrated with the lesson and the results. I'll try it again till I get it right! This won't beat me. I made my own slats for this one. but I'm still not happy with it.

I didn't even save the other ones I played with that's how frustrated I was.


Beks, replace your sparkles by just right clicking them and saving them as you would any picture, like Essex said, make a new folder in My Pictures to save them in so you know where to find them.



Arlene, I found that some of the "tube sets" will show different tubes when you click several times, instead of separating them you can click on it, use it and if the one you want to use doesn't show up then click undo, and use the tube again, a different one will show up, and just click undo and use it until you get the one you want.

Here's another site with sparkles.
Just open them up in your PSP then goto file..export..picture tube,name the sparkle then click OK.

The slat site must have gone down at the time but it's working again now
