This tutorial is making a glittery mosaic sig.
You'll need a picture tube that you want to use for your main image
and Todies..plain Mosaic Blur plugin.
If you don't have the todies plugins you can get them here

You'll also need a glitter swatch for the glitter lines.

1.First thing to do is open a new transparent image in your PSP.
Make the size 400x400.
Now make the foreground and stroke properties the colour that you want your background to be then use the flood fill tool to colour the transparent canvas.
Then goto layers..merge..merge all..flatten.

2.Now add a new raster layer then use the picture tube tool to add your picture tube then use the move tool to place it where you wish on the background.
Now goto effects..plugins..toadies..plain mosaic blur.
Make the settings cell width..15,cell height 23 and cell edges..0 then click OK

3. Now add a new raster layer then once again use the picture tube tool to add the picture tube and the move tool to move it into place.
There should be a fair ammount of mosaic still visible.



4.Now goto view..palettes..layers.
Where it says raster2 is the picture tube layer.
Click on the eye that you can see on the top line to hide the picture tube.
Now select the second line..where it says raster1 and right click the mouse
goto merge..merge down then left click.
You will now be left with two layers.

5.Now back to the picture and use the magic wand with the tolerance and feather settings both on 0
You need to click on the mosaic lines,what you need is all the lines selected,if it doesn't select all the lines click undo and try again till the lines are all selected.



6.Now goto ANIMATION SHOP and open the glitter swatch that you have saved.
Then goto edit..select all,then edit..copy.
Now back to the PSP and goto edit..paste..paste animation as multiple images.
minimise all of the glitter frames then click on the foreground and stroke properties,
then click on the pattern tag then find the first glitter frame from the drop down arrow.
Select it then click OK.

7.What you need to do now is use the flood fill tool to click on the selected lines to turn them all into the glitter colour.
It might take a few times,if the lines dont all get turned into the glitter colour click undo and try again till they do.
Then goto selections..select none.

8.Now goto view..palettes..layers.then click on the red x on the eye to show the picture tube again.then goto layers..merge..merge all..flatten.
Then goto edit..copy then back to the ANIMATION SHOP and goto edit..paste..as new animation.

9.Now back to the PSP and click undo 4 times till the glitter isnt on the lines anymore.
Now click in the foreground and stroke properties then find the second glitter frame from the pattern drop down arrow then click OK.
Then use the flood fill tool to get the lines coloured with the second glitter frame
then goto selections..select none.
Now goto view..palettes..layers. and click on the red x to uncross the eye like you done before.Then goto layers..merge..merge all..flatten.
Now goto edit..copy,then back to the Animation Shop and goto edit..paste..after current frame.

10Now to work on the third frame.
Repeat number 9 only difference is instead of selecting the second glitter frame select the third.

11.If the glitter swatch is 3 frames that's the tutorial finished,just save the pic in Animation Shop as a gif,if the glitter swatch is more than 3 frames continue till all the frames have been used.

This is a tutorial on how to download brushes into the PSP9.

1.First you need to download the brushes to your desktop.
Next open a new folder on your desktop by right clicking on your desktop..
the actual desktop not a desktop folder..then goto new..folder then right click.
Name the new folder brushes then place the brushes that you've downloaded into the new brushes folder that you've made.
If it's a brushes zip folder that you've downloaded you need to extract them into the new brushes folder.

2.Next open up your PSP9,then goto File..Import..Custom Brush.
Next click on OPEN,then use the browser to find the new brushes folder on your desktop.
Open it up and you'll find your brushes.select the brushes..if there's more than one brush in the folder then hold down ctrl while you select all the brushes one by one with a left click.
Once you have all the brush names in the file name then click Open.
Now click on ADD ALL,then click OK.
Your brushes are now in the brush section of the PSP9,you can find them to use when you select the brush and then you'll find them by using the same drop down arrow that you use when you search for a picture tube to use.
You can change the size of the text brush as you wish by changing the size number thats 3 places to the right of the drop down section
Once your brushes are downloaded into the brush section don't forget to delete the brushes folders from the desktop.You can always make a new brushes folder when you need to.
If you have more brushes to download just delete the zip folder and empty your new brushes folder that you made

HEY MAGGIE OH GIRL I LOVE YOUR HOMEWORK PIC IT IS SOOO PRETTY. I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MINE I HAVE TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO DOWNLOAD THE TOADIES INTO MY PLUGIN SECTION OF MY PSP AND IT IS THERE BUT WHEN I WANT TO USE IT THIS IS THE MESG I GET...............
