I thought some of you might like this free download, I hope it's helpful! Eye Candy 5 Impact http://s14.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=1HNCQFQI8IX4J06DFRXOWVLODB Registration Info: GNMKPKHNJHLH Eye Candy 5: Impact, is a collection of ten Photoshop filters which create chrome, brushed metal, glass, bevels, shadows, reflections and more. The third of three upgrades to Eye Candy 4000, Impact offers beautifully rendered effects that any novice or professional designer will appreciate. Impact includes three all-new filters. Backlight projects dramatic light beam and spotlight effects. Brushed Metal simulates textured metal surfaces such as brushed aluminum and polished brass. Extrude gives 2D objects a classic 3-D look, adding thickness and perspective. In addition, Impact refines seven classic effects that made Eye Candy famous. Embossing effects now include surface textures and more bevel shapes. Gel, glass, chrome and liquid metal effects now showcase a wide variety of vibrant reflections. Impact includes over 200 presets for frequently used effects; you can find the perfect effect quickly. The improved settings management system makes it easy to browse, share and collect new settings. Impact also works with 16-bit images. Color transitions are smoother, with less banding. Print documents reproduce colors more accurately Impact includes three new and seven Eye Candy classics. The classic filters boast brand-new looks, greater realism, and improved ease-of-use. For example, select filters create a new layer and render the effect to it; this allows users to view, edit, or turn off these effects without modifying the original layer. Select a filter below to see the descriptions and examples of the filters. If you have a pop-up blocker enabled, you can disable it for this site. We don't do pop-up ads here. Backlight (New) creates a brilliant light source behind selections, simulating heavenly rays, eclipses and more. Gradient controls provide a variety of colorful light sources: rays of sunshine, stage lights, or anything else imaginable. Bevel creates a wide variety of embossed, carved and beveled shapes. With new surface textures, Bevel also renders pitted, bumpy and craggy objects. Bevel is perfect for creating interface buttons and eye-popping text. Brushed Metal (New) is a brand new effect that renders architectural surfaces, such as stainless steel diner walls, copper counter tops and colorful anodized aluminum. It’s great for backgrounds in user interfaces and Web pages. Chrome simulates mirror-polished chrome, liquid metal and other shiny surfaces. Featuring improved reflection map technology, Chrome yields more realistic reflections. Users can even import their own reflection maps with the click of a button. Extrude (New), a new effect, simulates retro 3-D shape and lighting. A perspective effect akin to pressing dough through a selection, Extrude makes eye-catching text; objects explode from backgrounds. Extrude is about as simple to use as a filter can be. Glass renders a shiny, translucent coating over selections; you know, like glass! Compared to previous versions, the latest Glass renders smoother, shinier surfaces, instantly making glass buttons à la Macintosh. Gradient Glow does so much more than glow. It still creates a simple halo of light or a rainbow around any selection. Now, however, complex gradients can surround objects in neon tubes, spooky haze and more. Motion Trail creates semi-transparent streaks along a flexible path. An in-preview control precisely steers the streak. Objects can turn, swerve, blast off, descend or even travel in a straight line, if you still dig simplicity. Perspective Shadow creates 3-D perspective and drop shadows, as well as reflections. The two modes have been separated to simplify use, and the in-preview controls have been streamlined to offer a more user friendly filter. Super Star (New) leaves its predecessor in the dust, adding new controls for curved sides and gaps, and tip flattening. These options allow users to create many new shapes, including gears, flowers, spirographs and more. |

Hi Sewnutz - I'm sorry you can't get it to work - did you use the registrationcode provided at the download link?
This one and the new PSP9 link aren't actually pirated, they were provided for teachers to download for their pupils - and the links should work hun, I hope it does. Mine seems to work ok - but them I'm very new at doing this so maybe I'm not doing it right and I wouldn't know if it's performing properly BIG hugs Angel |

Ooooops sorry for the misunderstanding, I did get the eyecandy to work in both programs, its my Photoshop update that I can't get. I have version 7 and need the update for 7.01. I thought I found a way around it but it still didn't work and I downloaded it several times. But since I got PSP I don't really have to worry, the eyecandy worked in there too.
