hey, I got a new (old) rod this weekend! my dad gave me one of his! lol I have NO idea what kind of shape it's in, probably needs new line ...

I would change the line and grease up the reel

Take the reel to a good tackle shop and have them look at it clean it up and reline it

I'd never thought of doing that lol I'd just have hubby do it, but when he got damn good and ready lol this way I can have it when I'm damn good and ready! lol
