Sorry this took me a few days to post, but was out of town and didn't have internet access.
I wrote this in honor of 9-11, though I personally did not lose any one (only by the grace of God and a last minute schedule change) I know people who did. Forever 9-11 We have now reached year seven Since that terrible day Forever known as 9-11 When the whole nation began to pray Moms and Dads, Sisters and Brothers, Many were called home again Trying to help others Choosing to stay behind then Nor can we forget Those that were particularly driven The bravest yet The uniformed men and women The But through the smoke and tears The Eagle rose with a yell To calm our fears Strangers became friends Friends became family Our strength never ends In our search for harmony With sadness we look back But forward with hope and love We keep on track With you watching from above Written by Ann Abdelzaher
