Wonderful! Counselor! The Mighty God!

The people who walk in darkness
will see a great light.
For those who live in a land of deep darkness,
a light will shine.

For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

His government and its peace
will never end.
He will rule with fairness and justice
from the throne of his ancestor David
for all eternity.
The passionate commitment
of the Lord of Heaven's Armies
will make this happen!

So great is His Mercy and Love

How great is God's love for all
who worship him?
Greater than the distance
between heaven and earth!
How far has the LORD taken
our sins from us?
Farther than the distance
from east to west!

Just as parents are kind
to their children,
the LORD is kind
to all who worship him,

we are made of dust.

We humans are like grass
or wild flowers

So great is His Mercy and Love

As high as heaven is over the earth,
so strong is his love to those who fear him.
And as far as sunrise is from sunset,
he has separated us from our sins.

As parents feel for their children,
