[quote=Crudebug;2596316]Hey Buster.. I am glad you found the few drops of sincerity in the sarcastic bug... lmao...
But you need to be careful about making folk read the bible too much...
It backfires on us blokes as you can see from this example...

A man and his wife were having an argument about who should brew the coffee each morning. The wife said, "You should do it, because you get up first, and then we don't have to wait as long to get our coffee."
The husband said, "You are in charge of cooking around here and you should do it, because that is your job, and I can just wait for my coffee." Wife replies, "No, you should do it, and besides, it is in the Bible that the man should do the coffee."
Husband replies, "I can't believe that, show me." So she fetched the Bible, and opened the New Testament and showed him at the top of several pages, that it indeed says.......... "HEBREWS"

OMGosh....that is so funny .....
....I never heard that one b4.
Thanks for the chuckle CB.

PS....Hi Doug and 2manyTears

So unless you're fond of making breakfast in bed for your wife.. you better make sure she does not catch your bible reading mania... lol...
I prefer to read labels on beer bottles.. as the bottle gets empty,, the profound writing becomes more and more clear...
I guess everyone has their hobbys and thanks for the joke was a good one!

I am not sure, why we even refer to it as THE BOOK...
It is a collection of books, letters, songs, just bundled up and some were left out and some might be added in the future.. like the book of Judas finally accepted as authentic and now under debate if it is to eb included in the official bible as they cannot be partial to an account of one of the apostles when it is validated as genuine...
prob is it will throw the accounts of the four gospels in dissary and the concept of betray will go outta da window...
That BOOK is NOT a BOOK... it is a dayum LIBRARY...
I love the Bible
It is a wonderful collection of books, letters, and songs. ♥♪♥♪ I never knew there was a book or letter of Judas. I wonder why that was left out? He betrayed Jesus, but I believe (my opinion) is that it was part of God's overall plan. "All things work together for good...." (Romans 8:28) I certainly wouldn't have wanted that roll. He was in such despair afterwards, he hung himself. There are so many "what if's"...?
I don't know about any being added in the future. I think what we have now, is what we have. I have been reading and studying "THE Book" for quite some years, on and off, and I don't think I could handle any more than what is there. lol It keeps giving and giving, and to me, it is as deep as the ocean, and then some. It is a Library ! I like that....
What did you mean by the "concept of betray" though...
Judas betrayed Jesus, but I believe that he is forgiven also. Afterall, Jesus died for the sins of the world.
