I just wanted to 2nd what Marky said. It's people like Kami & Jon that make it worth telling our story. Carole too, as she says that she lives out her dreams through our story. To me it is a modern day fairy tale because I never dreamed that I would find someone like Marky in this world. He is all I have ever wanted in my life.
I get a kick out of him because he is so afraid that he will bore me. Never because we seem to have a different adventure every day. I worry that he will tire of my being ill so much of the time, but he always reassures me as he takes good care of me that he will never do that. He always prays over me & says that if he could take away my pain that he would. I get along real well with his kids & I can now talk with Exxie at times with no problems. I do this for his kids because Marky & I are eventually going to make a permanent change in our lives & I want to make sure that nothing I do will hurt his kids! I love his kids as if they were my own & I have vowed that I will never see them hurt. I just hope with all that happens, that I can keep this vow! As for baseball, I love the Reds & the Cubs. I know alot about the Padres because when Soon to be Ex & I lived in Las Vegas for 12 years, their farm team was there. Now it is the Dodgers who make their home there for their farm team. So when the Padres play, I root for them too! Philly Cheesesteaks, wow I could eat one everyday & never tire of them. If I have a second choice, it would be the Subway Club, with lettuce, tomatoes, oil & vinegar. Hee hee! Now I will have to go & eat my breakfast. A special note on how well Marky takes care of me! He would not let me get up with him this morning to take the 2 youngest to the movies, because he wanted me to get my rest. I ended up sleeping until 10:00am & could actually go back to bed right now!  The adventure continues... |

Well, it's been a little while since I have posted much of anything here, so I thought I had better try to do some catching up.
Marky's Mom, Sister & Nephew are in for the next couple of weeks, so we have been doing things with them as we can. They are super people! We went to lunch with them on Sunday afternoon. It went well. I really like them & I hope they like me too! Yesterday we had the kids all day, starting very early. We did all kinds of things to prepare for the evening. We left about 6:30pm to head out to the college, where the fireworks were being held. We ate chicken & all of the fixings while listening to a band, a singing group & all of the patriotic speeches which come with such a great holiday! Then it was time to put on the special glasses that we were given & to watch the fireworks! They were wonderful!!! I had never watched them in 3-D before. After the fireworks, we loaded the car & started home. Of course we saw Exxie there with her Sister & she is back to being her typical self. The goodness must have been a fluke last Sunday! LOL I didn't even mention all of the crap from Sunday night! She called Marky a total of 14 times on Sunday, not to mention a call from each of the kids & changed her plans at least 3 times! WOW! Talk about a fart in a whirl-wind! We sure had it there! Anyway, back to the 4th...We left the college & headed home going past a huge fire that had been burning in a field during the fireworks. We know only that the fireworks didn't cause it. We got home & came in to look at the Roo when there was a knock on the door. It was Sandi, Marky's sister dropping off the girls, as they had ridden with her & his Mom. We had thought that she was going to take them home! William had gone ahead with his Mom. Marky, Sarah & I unloaded the car quickly so that he could take Sarah & Rachel home. Rachel...God love her is in her typical teenager mode. I sure hope our week in San Diego with them goes well, as Marky bends over backwards for her, well for all of his kids! Marky took the girls home while I stayed behind to put things away. When he came back we watched the Denver fireworks & another fireworks documentary on TV & called it a night about 1:00am! It was a great 4th of July for me & I hope it was for Marky too! We even behaved ourselves at the fireworks show because they said that we couldn't have any personal fireworks & Sandi said that she had better not catch us making any! LMAO The adventure continues, as tomorrow we go to see 2 of his Aunts in Los Angeles! |
